Summer programs are a great way to earn credits toward your degree
Summer is a great time to travel independently before or after a 3-6 week program
Living on a Budget
Live like the local students and seek out local deals
Eating out and traveling every weekend can add up
Pubs are great places to meet people but it also adds up
Prepare your meals at home to the degree possible, pack your lunch
Create an actual budget and try to stick to it
Talk to past participants and ask for tips and advice
Utilize low-cost airlines and package deals for weekends
Beware of bank fees and cell phone overages
Student discounts in museums, by airlines, on trains, etc.
