Objectifs de l’enseignement (Décrire ce que l’étudiant est censé avoir acquis comme compétences après le succès à cette matière –

A l’issue de cet apprentissage, les étudiants seront capables de produire des phrases simples dans une langue plus ou moins
correcte en respectant les types de phrases, leur intonation et leur code spécifique. Ces acquis vont être développés lors du Semestre

Connaissances élémentaires en anglais et en français. Les étudiants sont censés avoir au moins un niveau seuil dans la langue

Listening Comprehension:
Objective :
The teaching of Listening in the first year aims at making students familiar with basic listening skills, by exposing them to different types of authentic material.
Activities :
- Guided exercises, language games.
- Pronunciation drills (practical grammar and phonetics).
- Communication situations (guided)
Oral Expression:
Objective :
The teaching of Oral Expression (Speaking) in the first year aims at making students familiar with basic speaking strategies trough different
procedures, so that they are able to manipulate linguistic forms in the right social environment for communication purposes.
Activities :
- Discussions.
- Role selections.
- Lab: songs, listening with comprehension to - Authentic materials, pronunciation drills.
