    Alloing )or &oor language and dra)ting in the &assage 8uoted above, hatseems to be no envisaged is a ne ty&e o) $ommittee $alled 7*versight1ommittees(, a $hange o) name that im&lies a $hange o) the role o) the$ommittees )rom $onsultation to oversight o) the e5e$utive .his seems&ositive e5 )a$ie, but it is undermined by the re)eren$e to their $hairmenbeing re&resentatives o) %inisters, although a&&ointed in $onsultation ith&arty leaders .his seems to me to be no re)orm at all, but merely atinkering ith the &resent system hereby its most unsatis)a$tory )eature isvery slightly $hanged, so that the $ommittee $hairs are not the %inistersthemselves, and that the $hairs are a&&ointed in $onsultation In this
