I’m very proud to recognise and congratulate Elle Fredricksen for promoting to The Chefs Toolbox’s fi rst ever Director, and Danielle Briggs and Julie Graham for their promotions to Group Leader. Elle, Danielle and Julie have all had a vision for their businesses, an action plan to put it into place, and the passion to make it happen.
I also want to thank them because their successes are a signifi cant milestone in The Chefs Toolbox’s vision to “Inspire Cooking in Every Home”. These leaders have inspired you in your cooking, the development of your business and, through that, your personal development.
After huge team growth in June, August is on track to be another huge month for recruiting. While the tools and incentives are very cool, your recruits “buy” you so thank you for enthusiastically “Just Asking” your Hosts and their guests. We are so confi dent numbers for next year’s Taste of the Toolbox will be huge that Samantha has started discussions with a 2nd resort in Bali to ensure we have enough room!
There are many very helpful tools to ensure you and your partner can join us in Bali (or you enjoy a complimentary spa treatment!) The two aids which I strongly encourage you to commit to are:
1. A consistent 10-15 minute weekly call with your up-line, and1. A consistent 10-15 minute weekly call with your up-line, and

July’s Fundraising Star!
Sharon’s Fantastic Fundraiser!Sharon’s Fantastic Fundraiser!A big Congratulations to Sharon Ramsay whose Organiser Coaching paid off for her at the AAPEC Fundraiser with one new Consultant, six follow on Bookings, and sales totalling $2,700!
My Fundraiser was successful because it combined two things that I’m very passionate about.
The fi rst is my love of cooking from being a chef for 18 years and now being a Consultant with The Chefs Toolbox. My second passion is supporting “Australian Action on Pre Eclampsia” (AAPEC). As a survivor of severe Eclampsia my daughter and I are lucky to be here and AAPEC are a fantastic support network who helped me through this condition.
The Chefs Toolbox fundraiser gave me the opportunity to show off the range of Chefs Toolbox products and demonstrate how wonderful they are as well as promote awareness for AAPEC - having FUN is just a bonus!

Support Tips!Have you noticed something new?Our recent systems maintenance has brought some added benefi ts to Consultants, which we’re very excited about.
Invoices emailedAs from last week, you may have noticed that you receive an email almost as soon as you process an order via the Consultant Portal or even your Personal Web Site. This email has the invoice for that order attached in a more friendly PDF format.
You should store, and possibly even print, all PDF invoices to keep as your business records for tax and income purposes. You may like to forward such emails to your accountant, for their purposes also. This will ensure that you have all your invoices to hand to prepare BAS returns, income tax returns, and provide income estimates etc to Government agencies without the need to request missing documents from TCT, which can take some time to process.
Email to confi rm dispatch (Australia only)Our systems now also generate an email to advise when an order has been shipped.
This email provides you with the Consignment Note (connote) number, which is the Australia Post tracking number of your parcel/s. You can copy and paste this number into Australia Post’s online tracking facility on their website, to see where your delivery is at any given time.
http://auspost.com.au/track/
This email is also sent to the Host of Cooking Party deliveries (if you have given us their email address when you entered the Party order), and to Customers of Web Orders from your Personal Web Site.
We are not able to provide this service in New Zealand currently, due to restrictions with access to NZ Post’s dispatch process.
Remittance advice for paymentsFor weekly profi t payments and monthly Volume Rebate (PowerSeller) and Management Bonuses, you will have received a new-look Remittance Advice, which gives you details about the payment made into your bank account.
Please note: the Remittance Advice is emailed to you as soon as we start the process of paying monies to Consultants, however the actual payment into your bank account may occur slightly later. As always, we aim to pay weekly profi ts on Fridays each week, and monthly payments by the 15th of the month.
You should store, and possibly even print, all advices to keep as your business records for tax and income purposes. You may like to forward such emails to your accountant, for their purposes also. This will ensure that you have all your documentation to hand to prepare BAS returns, income tax returns, and provide income estinates etc to Government agencies without the need to request missing documents from TCT, which can take some time to process.
You can also fi nd more detailed information about Management Bonuses and PowerSeller Bonuses on the Earnings tab on your Consultant Portal.

Tales from the Toolbox
Tales from the Toolbox
Tales from the ToolboxWe have a hot new Consultant in Sydney! Rebecca Miller, who only started with The Chefs Toolbox in June, has already completed her fi rst Fundraiser with me, recruited a new Consultant, and made $4,000 in sales! WOW!
You’re doing such a great job Rebecca!
Cherie McKay, Group Coordinator, NSW
8 Bookings for DeniseNew Consultant Denise Herman is off to a fl ying start! She may still only be in her fi rst month, but that hasn’t stopped her from making over $1,000 and EIGHT bookings at only her third Cooking Party!
Well done Denise – keep up the great work!
Sharon McWilliams, Group Manager, NSW
Anna builds her business Anna Griffi th is doing such a great job building her business! She is highly motivated and the results are showing through consistent high sales and the extra bookings after each Cooking Party.
Anna has been doing a “Masterchef” style cooking competition at her Cooking Parties where the group breaks into two, then is judged by the Host and a box of chocolates is given to the winning team. She is now taking this one step further and taking photos of the teams at her Cooking Parties and then sending the photo to each customer with a thank you letter attached.
Great job Anna, your determination and positive attitude is to be commended!
Elle Fredricksen, Director, VIC
Market Day SuccessSue Crawford had an incredible market day thanks to the wonderful selling skills of her Host. After a last minute change of venue due to bad weather, she had very little expectations for the day. Sue made $1,300 in sales and a customer named Josie booked a Cooking Party so the day was not as bad as originally thought.
Little did she know that the next day she would receive a call from Josie to say she had already sold 5 Sauté Pans, and with every phone call, the news just kept getting better!
In the end, Josie sold 12 Sauté Pans and arranged for 2 further Cooking Parties – and this was before she’d even held the Cooking Party!
Once the Cooking Party was held, Josie was a very happy Host with 4,000 HER points while Sue had secured 4 new bookings and a new recruit!
Well done to Sue for her fabulous Host Coaching – I believe she’s still trying to get Josie to jump ship to The Chefs Toolbox as she’s clearly a born saleswoman!
Rhonda Ross, Group Manager, VIC
I fi rst saw The Chefs Toolbox at a local food festival and was immediately hooked. My fi rst impression was that I loved how the red colour really stood out, and I loved the look of all of the products. Soon after, I attended a friend's Cooking Party where I bought some of the products and booked in my own Cooking Party.
I joined as a Consultant after much soul searching and contemplating the benefi ts of becoming a Consultant against working a “normal” full-time job, but I am now thrilled to call this MY business. I work the hours that best suit me and if I need time off for family, I can take it.
When I started The Chefs Toolbox training program, I realised that I have never been a goal-setter, so I worked with the team to set my goals of becoming a Senior Consultant then a Group Coordinator within certain timeframes to help push me and keep me focused. I was delighted to have attained these promotions I had set for myself and I even achieved my monetary goal of paying for my son’s full boarding school fees after 6 months.
While I would not call myself a “MasterChef” yet, I am so much more confi dent now in the kitchen and following new recipes. I am cooking variations of old recipes and absolutely love my Sauté Pan which has pride of place on my cooktop 24 hours a day.
I choose to conduct one or two parties a week, if possible, and I now have a wonderful team of fi ve girls whom I speak with weekly, and sometimes more as I consider them all my friends. I have a fantastic up line in Sonia Clifford and Phip Pickette for whom nothing is ever a problem.
I was fortunate to have Sonia as my mentor and someone to aspire to be like, as her success with The Chefs Toolbox is evident in her amazing achievements. I think working as a Chefs Toolbox Consultant is the best job I have ever had - I get to go to Parties, have FUN and cook, do some bookwork which keeps my mind active and get paid for it! Working part-time and receiving a full-time pay-check is such a great feeling – WOO HOO!

Congratulations to our two new Group Leaders and our fi rst ever Director! We have had some amazing promotions this month, and a HUGE congratulations is in order for Elle Fredricksen, Danielle Briggs and Julie Graham! Elle Fredricksen has recently promoted to The Chefs Toolbox’s fi rst ever Director, and Danielle and Julie have promoted to Group Leaders.
What a fantastic milestone for these three ladies, their passion and dedication to their business is truly inspiring, and reading their stories will undoubtedly motivate you to reach for the stars and know that anything is possible!
Danielle BriggsWhen I started at The Chefs Toolbox, I was looking for Fundraising ideas, certainly not a job, let alone a business! But here I am today with an amazing business, an incredible team of inspiring women (and men) and it’s all thanks to an advert in Melbourne's Child back in December 2003.
Julie GrahamSeveral years ago I was asked by Elle to join The Chefs Toolbox. I asked her to tell me more about the company and when she mentioned that I would be doing Cooking Parties, I burst out laughing and told her that I don’t cook.
She told me not to worry and showed me some quick and easy recipes – and 5 ½ years later I am still demonstrating those recipes at my cooking parties.
Elle FredricksenI can still remember in my younger adolescent days going around the neighbourhood doing odd jobs to get pocket money for all the necessities you need as a teenager. The habit of setting and achieving goals was instilled in me as a child, and that has carried through to today where I still apply these skills to my Chefs Toolbox business.
Every night I write my detailed to-do list with timelines and start my day off as productive as possible, factoring in support calls, emails, lunch and my business development plans each day.

Good fun was had by all during the afternoon entertainment including cricket matches and a girls vs boys soccer match.
The Consultant Support girls scored an amazing goal that saw Sandra, Julie, Linda and Katherine working as a team to get the ball over the line, but even with the help of David, Luis and Owen, they were still thrashed 13-2.
