Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden News

Garden classes have been busy weeding, sowing seeds,

harvesting, preparing raised beds, moving soil, watering, and pruning. Thank you to parents who bought produce

from our harvest market last Wednesday at 3.15pm.

Students will do it again next Wednesday. The last two to three weeks of term will be busy planting seedlings for term

1 harvest. Students need to remember that the garden beds are work areas and not play areas. Some plants are

being accidently damaged. Lastly, if you are available to

water in the holidays, there is a list to sign your name up on the notice board.

There are 3 Levels that kids can ultimately do if they

through this camp. Fun games, low ropes and initiative

activities, wall climbing, dramas etc are all in the program.
