He is currently one of the most sought after producers around and we here at SKREAM can give you the exclusive news about his forthcoming album “Murder Scene 3”. On this album Inspector-s has collaborated with artists such as lil Wayne and Jay-Z.

You started out as a Dubstep and Grime producer so tell us about how you switched to the hip-hop scene?

“Well it just kind of happened naturally for me. I’ve always listened to and been a big fan of hip-hop and in my early producing days i was always creating hip-hop beats.”

Growing up what kinds of music were you most in to and which artists were your favourites?“As a kid i listened to loads of different types of music, i wasnt really bothered with what everyone else was listening to but what i liked to listen to myself. I listened to mainly hip-hop and was inspired by artists like Dr Dre and 2pac. I also listened to alot of local music that was emerging like in the garage scene.”

How have you coped with the sudden rise to stardom and are the rumours true about you mov-ing to the states?(laughs)”Naa they’re not true fi rstly im not moving to the states permanantely, i do go there alot to work but the UK is my home. I still get to see my family alot and im still tight with all my old friends so its all good really”

So lastly what can we expect from you in the coming months?“I’m quite busy at the moment working on promoting the new album but apart from that i’ve worked with a few artists on their albums, so look out for that!”
