Technology Will Save Us is on a mission to spark the creative imagination of young people using hands-on technology.
We create award winning DIY kits and digital resources that help people make, play, code and invent using technology. We started in 2012, packing kits around our kitchen table, and have now sold over 40,000 kits in 87 countries. We’ve collaborated with Google and the recently the BBC on the Micro Bit to reach 1 million 12-year-olds in the UK. We’re growing a community of parents, young people and educators bursting to make, play, code and invent even more with technology.
Our East London mini factory houses a team of 20 parents, designers, sales people, financiers, marketing gurus, production specialist, educators, engineers, e-commerce experts, designers and developers. We’re passionately building the most accessible and entertaining brand for the maker generation.

Hands on learning engages students and provides the ability to succeed beyond the traditional academic areas, boosting self con-fidence and motivation.
One box contains all the components you need to start making.
Learning technical/making skills empowers us to fix and invent, picking up valuable skills along the way.
Designing, problem solving, critical thinking, soldering, prototyping, coding, collaboration, debugging, persistence…and more.
Open ended activities enable everyone to succeed but can challenge even the most able participant.
Low threshold, high ceiling activities are structured for success but allow for infinite outcomes.
If people care about what they are making, it has more meaning for them and deepens learning.
Designed around everyday life themes in response to real world needs, resulting in objects that are both beautiful and useful.
Using online resources allows everyone access expert guidance and frees time for parents/teachers to engage learners rather than knowledge delivery.
Free age appropriate online resources to support both novice and experienced makers.
Making reinforces key STEAM principles.Exciting projects to spark learning across different curriculum including core subject areas.
Working collaboratively promotes deeper problem solving as well as softer social skills such as communication and negotiation.
We support collaborative making, both peer to peer and teacher to peer. Share the trials and the tribulations.
Play helps us develop a deeper engagement and understanding of the world around us.
Play and tinker with Technology, from electro dough dinosaurs to coding a game of pong or making a din with the synth.

CHEAT SHEETS
When learning so many new skills, it can sometimes become overwhelming. With this in mind, we have designed a series of fun Cheat Sheets to simplify the process. The Cheat Sheets contain the essential information in a clear and easy to understand format, just follow the steps, it’s as easy as baking a cake.
They are all downloadable to complement your lessons and workshops.
MANUALS
Each kit comes with a simple step by step Manual. These Manuals are very visual, brightly coloured and contain fun hints and tips, allowing students to work at their own pace, taking them through each step in the making process.
These work well with either individual, pair or group work and allows learners to progress at their own pace.
LESSON PLANS
The learning journey is different with each kit. We have created clear lesson plans with key learning objectives for each kit, allowing the kit to be used for one session or to be used across a whole term. The lessons plans act as guides, which can be tailored or extended by the education providers to meet the needs of their learners.
We are always looking for fun and new ways to use our kit, so if you have an idea please let us know or upload it on our community page to help others learn.
HOW TO VIDEOS
Our online videos cover everything from quick, fun introductions to our kits to step by step assembly guides. We love videos because they are a great resource to aid in the teaching process. Videos allow pupils to continue their learning at home, or can be used in the classroom as part of the lesson. Our online resources are always growing with projects from our community, experts and, also, in house from the TWSU team.
