COMMUNITY Downers Grove North High School is located 23 miles west of Chicago, serving the suburban residential communities of Downers Grove, Woodridge, Oak Brook, Lisle, and Westmont.

SCHOOL North High is the older of two comprehensive four-year senior high schools in District 99. Enrollment at North High is approximately 2,242 students. Based on the class of 2017, 93% of graduates continued formal education beyond high school.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

One-half unit of credit is earned upon successful completion of a subject which meets on a daily basis for one semester. COUNSELING AND STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES

A comprehensive program of student services is provided. Eight school counselors assist students with personal, social, and academic concerns, college selection, and career/vocational plans. Complementing the counselors are a college and career counselor, social workers, staff psychologists, a student assistance coordinator, and a special services program.
