    Eastside. We feel that good health means

    more than going to the doctor when you

    are sick. We provide many services to

    help you when you are ill or injured.

    What do we do?We provide you with health care for

    present illness and information to

    prevent future illness. We also offer a

    full range of addiction and mental health

    services at this clinic.

    Do I have to pay?Our services are free for those who live in

    the Downtown Eastside and Strathcona

    areas.

    CLINICSERVICESWEOFFER

    Basic (Primary) Health Care

    Primary health care, which includesmedical exams, treatment, professionaladvice, and follow-up from our team ofdoctors, nurses, and counselors.

    Shots (immunization) for Adults

    Information is available about regularshots at our clinic. In the fall and winterwe provide free flu shots to people whoare at risk in The Downtown Eastside.

    You can get information and healthcare for:

    HIV and Hepatitis- testing, treatmentand prevention

    Sexually Transmitted Infections-information, testing and treatment

    Emergency Contraceptive Pill (if youthink you just got pregnant)

    Ways to inject more safely

    Housing, food sources, and access to othercommunity resources

    Wound care

    TB testing and care

    Addiction Services

    Drug & Alcohol one-to one counseling.

    Methadone maintenance (treatment foropiate addiction )

    Needle exchange (getting clean needlesand other equipment)

    Referrals to other programs that meetyour health care needs

    Provide support in seeking detox,recovery houses and treatment centres

    Mental Health Councilor provides:
