Company Bio
QuantumQuest, LLC dba Dr. Joy
It was the end of June 2005, after 20+ years in Corporate America, Joy Ohayia was laid off from her Executive level job. She was elated and with the support of her husband set out to discover her passion. Two weeks later her company Quantum Quest, LLC (QQ, LLC) was established. The company name means something “big and attainable”.
Initially the company was formed to become a franchisee with Lady of America. QQ, LLC was the owner and operator of a Ladies Workout Express, located in New Jersey. The club had over 800 members (women) that were enthusiastic about taking care of themselves and living a healthy lifestyle. QQ, LLC owned the club from 2005 through 2007.
Joy was on a quest to share with women the importance of taking care of themselves which sparked the idea to write – Don’t Let IT Get You! – An Empowering Health and Fitness Guide For Women. After her book was published, Joy was asked to contribute to the book – Blueprint for Success – Proven Strategies of Success with Stephen Covey and Ken Blanchard. Her chapter is titled – Passion Driven - Chapter 1, where she describes how she found her passion after working in Corporate America.
Joy went on to create on multi-level employee wellness programs for Fortune 500 companies as well as worked with private clients. In 2009, she earned her PhD, in 2010 she launched a cable TV show and in 2011 Joy launched a new product called Dr. Joy Daily Veggies.
Today, Joy continues her quest to educate women about Total Wellness through her Seven Steps to Total Wellness – physical, nutritional, social, environmental, financial, spiritual, and emotional/mental. These all must be in balance for optimal wellness. She does this through her website, social media, speaking, guest appearances and television.

Center for Disease Control and Prevention Article: by Jacqueline Bodnar
Not Feeling 20 Anymore? You Can Turn Back the Clock!
(Syndicated News) The weight problems finding their way into the population across the country are no surprise to those in the healthcare industry. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, obesity among adults has risen significantly over the last 20 years, with 30 percent of U.S. adults being obese, totaling over 60 million people. What’s more, sales of products in the diet industry run into the billions each year. A lot of adults with health issues are trying to find an easy fix. But the answer, according to experts, can’t be found in a magic pill that will help people change their life overnight. Rather, it’s a lifestyle change that involves exercise, diet and, most of all, the motivation to stick to the changes. “People find it hard to believe that in my 40s I look better than I did 15 years ago,” explains Joy Ohayia, founder of QuantumQuest (http:// quantumquestonline.com), a company specializing in motivating individuals
and corporations to improve their body image. “The key is making healthy choices a part of your daily life. I made the changes to turn back the clock, and I believe others can, too.” Ohayia, a certified personal trainer and wellness consultant, is the author of “Don’t Let ‘IT’ Get You! An Empowering Health and Fitness Guide for Women” (iUniverse, 2007), a guide to help women reach mental, physical and emotional health. Through the QuantumQuest System (TM): Perfect Combination, a 30-day program program, which includes fitness counseling, a nutrition plan and motivational techniques, she’s helped people change their lives. “Most people feel like they can’t change their body,” adds Ohayia. “Not true. By putting yourself first and making lifestyle changes, through diet and exercise, you can create a new image.” Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Preventing Obesity and Chronic Diseases Through Good Nutrition and Physical Activity. July 2005. http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/publications/factsheets/Prevention/obesity.htm
