Doctors on earth are like Gods in the heaven. A special day is observed to thank them for their humane services to mankind. Every year July 1 is `Doctor's Day' which is very special for every medical practitioner.

This day is dedicated to all the doctors to remind them of their vital role in peoples lives. Doctor owe a challenge that we work to near perfection, towards patient's life . We believe that Doctor's Day is a perfect time to recognize the pressure of the job, expressing thanks to doctors for mentoring and to be grateful for their ability to comfort and heal.

There are some amongst us who outshine the others and achieve further heights. It is thus an honour for we doctors to be able to felicitate such outstanding individuals amongst us.

This year we are celebrating Doctors Day with a theme called “ Unclog the city Arteries”

The stress and life style of this metropolis has led the society at large and our doctors to suffer from life style diseases which eventually clog our coronary and has increased the chance of even premature death. This is very similar to the state of our city Mumbai where traffic and overcrowding and encroachment has clogged our arterial roads leading to daily occurrence of “ City Attack “ somewhat like heart attack.

The AMC has taken lead to create multi –stake- holders platform in the city of Mumbai with NGOs , individual activists and associations that have been working tirelessly to make the city of Mumbai liveable.

This programme is a true concept of edutainment where we will do it right as we chill , with music , dance humour and relaxation .

We invite you to join us this evening not just for entertainment but also to show solidarity to make our gen next proud of us for having done the right for them.
