Florida Atlantic University
Purpose: Meet critical emerging workforce need for engineers trained in both transportation and environmental systems, specializing in the nexus of mobility and environmental sustainability, first of its kind in the country
Program of Strategic Emphasis: STEM
Workforce Need: Senior engineers in regulatory agencies, research laboratories, academia, and specialized job functions in engineering, management, government, and consulting
Program Resources: The university has sufficient faculty resources and facilities to implement the program
Program Budget Overview: The total program cost to the institution in year one is $293,916 and will be funded through E&G and C&G
Tuition: FAU will charge the standard graduate tuition & fees• $396 per credit hour for resident students
• $1,024 per credit hour for nonresident students
Florida International University
Purpose: Train candidates for key leadership positions in design investigation and in the growing related technology fields
Program of Strategic Emphasis: STEM
Workforce Need: Architecture careers in design, industry, applied research, teaching, and leadership positions in public agencies and municipalities
Program Resources: The university has sufficient faculty resources and facilities to implement the program
Program Budget Overview: The total program cost to the institution in year one is $58,610 and will be funded through E&G and P&E
Tuition: FIU will charge the standard graduate tuition & fees
• $456 per credit hour for resident students
• $1,002 per credit hour for nonresident students
Florida State University
Program Purpose: Provide students will the skills necessary to be successful Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA)
Program of Strategic Emphasis: Critical Workforce-Health
Workforce Need: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Program Resource: The university has sufficient faculty resources and facilities to implement the program
Program Budget Overview: The total program cost to the institution in year one is $1,164,000 and will be funded through E&G, reallocated from the current Master of Science in Nursing Anesthesia
Tuition: FSU will charge a flat rate of $9,500 per semester, including fees, for both resident and nonresident students
University of North Florida
Program Purpose: Prepare scholarly practitioners who possess the advanced curriculum and instructional knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed to work and lead in today’s PK-12 school systems
Program of Strategic Emphasis: Critical Workforce-Education
Workforce Need: PK-12 and district administrators, teacher leaders, instructional coaches, curriculum specialists, curriculum designers, and consultants for companies that design curriculum materials
Program Resources: The university has sufficient faculty resources and facilities to implement the program
Program Budget Overview: The total program cost to the institution in year one is $121,933 and will be funded through E&G
Tuition: UNF will charge the standard graduate tuition & fees
• $493 per credit hour for resident students
• $1,044 per credit hour for nonresident students
