I convey my preeminent wishes and candid thanks to everyone as we wind
up year 2020 and move our dynamism into the succeeding year 2021. The
former twelve months have been noticeable by remarkable happenings.
As we emulate on the previous year, I belief that we have several reasons
to have gigantic superiority in our activities and look onward to
subsequent year at the Institute with desire.
Students of Institute continued to reach at the premier levels of success.
IMRD is also developing to see the needs of a rising, varying students and
staff. We will keep our effort and energetic work to form our own future.
On behalf of Institute I thank to everybody for being part of us. I ask you

It offers me huge joy to note that reply to this
newsletter of IMRD “E-Bulletin” has been
marvelous. The comprehensive variety of articles in
varied segments provides me a sense of superiority
that our students and staff retain inspired skills and
creative thinking. Every article is pleasurable,
fascinating and captivating. I congratulate the givers
for their inspired views and diverse kinds in articles
added by them. Admirable work is also completed by

TCS Campus Placement Drive 2021
„Ninja‟ National Qualifier Test was organized by
Tata Consultancy Services, Pune for MCA, M.Sc.
and B.E. 2021 batch students from 24th
to 28th
October 2020. In this online test quantitative
aptitude, verbal reasoning and advance
programming rounds were conducted. Ms.
Karishma Dilip Sarje, student of MCA final year
successfully qualified this test and became eligible
for interview process. It was online interview
through Webex application in which Technical and
HR questions were asked to candidates.
Ms. Karishma got selected for the position of
Assistant System Engineer-Trainee. It‟s a proud to
share that Ms. Karishma is selected in such a great
global IT company which is having employee
strength of more than 4,19,000 with offices in 46
countries, a footprint on 6 continents and a revenue
of $17.58 Billon.

Orientation Program
Institute‟s Staff Welfare Committee organized four
days orientation program for newly joined faculty
members from 30th
November 2020 to 3rd
December 2020. The objectives of this program
were to introduce different systems, committees,
cells, best practices etc., of Institute. Total 12
faculty members participated in this program.
In this orientation program various sessions were
arranged. The Director of Institute Dr. Vaishali B.
Patil madam took session on Institute overview,
management initiatives for staff. Afterwards
Assistant Director and HOD of MCA/IMCA
Department Mr. Manoj N. Behere presented
session on academic diary contents and record
keeping. IQAC coordinator and HOD of MMS
Department Dr. M. B. Patel took sessions on
introduction of different committees, objective of
each committee, roles and responsibilities. Sir also
gave introduction of performance assessment of
faculties. HOD of UG Department Mr. Tushar R.
Patel introduced internal and external examination
system. Mrs. Chhaya S. Patil gave overview of
leave management system, financial assistance
scheme for staff professional development. Mr.
Dinesh A. Borase introduced different professional
ethics. Mrs. Kavita G. Patil introduced library
assets and library systems.

Survey of Using Sanitary Pads and
Hygiene Practices at Umarda
Institute‟s NSS unit conducted a survey of Using
Sanitary Pads and Hygiene Practices for rural girls
and women at Umarda, Tal-Shirpur on 4th
December 2020. It was a survey about use of
sanitary pads and awareness of health and hygiene
practices during menstrual cycle. The objectives
were to collect the information about the
perceptions, different aspects of menstrual
hygiene among girls and women of Umarda, to
collect and analyze the information of social
awareness, quality of life, health and hygiene
practices during menstrual cycle of girls and
women of Umarda.
Umarda village is located in Shirpur taluka of
Dhule district. It is 36km away from Shirpur.
Umarda has a total population of 3,261 people.
Total 8 girl volunteers of NSS and Aasha workers
conducted this survey. This survey was conducted
for 294 girls and women of Umarda.
Along with survey, volunteers spread information
about best hygiene practices and health importance
among girls and women of the village. In survey
form the questions were regarding personal details,
most commonly used product during menstrual
cycle, health issues arises due to commonly used
product etc. The major problem faced during the
survey was the language barrier and shyness among
girls and women. This problem was solved with the
help of local authorities and Aasha workers.

Software, Mumbai
Training and Placement Cell of IMRD invited
Samyak Software, Mumbai to conduct virtual
campus placement drive in this pandemic situation
on 5th
December 2020 for MCA and IMCA 2020-
2021 batch.
Mr. Shitalkumar V. Dagade Co-founder and COO,
Samyak Software, Mumbai also conducted webinar
for MCA and IMCA final year students and guided
them regarding the current IT trends.
Total 25 students from IMRD were eligible and
shortlisted for the technical interview round. Out of
25 students, Mr. Vaibhav Sangale and Mr. K. K.
Abhishek were selected for the position of
Technology Analyst with stipend of Rs.10,000/-
pm for training period of 6 months.
It was great opportunity given by Samyak Software
to the students. Students thanked to company and
Institute for giving this opportunity.

IT Solutions, Nashik
Training and Placement Cell of IMRD organized
Campus Placement Drive by Codingbit IT
solutions, Nashik on 15th
December 2020 for MCA
and IMCA 2020-2021 batch. Total 14 students
from IMRD were shortlisted for virtual technical
interview. Ms. Gayatri Dorik, Ms. Mohini
Dharmadhikari and Ms. Nikita Patil cracked this
interview and selected as a PHP Developers.

Online Webinar Series on Project
Development
To fight against COVID-19, enabling learning from
home and practices of e-learning with social
distancing, MMS Department of IMRD organized
4 days webinar series from 15th
December 2020 to
18th
December 2020 for enrichment and
professional development of students. Total 18
students participated in this webinar series.
Mr. Pankaj Bhandarkar, Tech Lead, Facile Service
Pvt. Ltd., Pune was a resource person for this
webinar series. The webinar began daily at 10.00
am in the presence of all the members of the MMS
Department and last up to 12.00 pm.
The webinar series was structured in a PPT with
visual impact and practical demonstration which
will help to understand easily and related
implementation of learning at home by students.
On 15th
December 2020, day first the basic ethics
of project development were explained to the
participants by the resource person. The webinar
series started with an introduction to web
development. The resource person then explained
about the principles of web development and
project guidelines. He highlighted on various
aspect of web development like technology
requirements for web development, introduction to
client side scripting and implementation,
introduction to database technology during this
webinar series.

Online Knowledge Sharing Session on
Job Opportunities in Banking, Finance
and Government Sector for Fresher
An online knowledge sharing session was
organized by MMS Department on 22th
December
2020. It was conducted on the topic “Job
Opportunities in Banking, Finance and
Government Sector for Fresher” by Mr. Amul S.
Tamboli, Assistant Professor, IMRD an expert in
guiding students regarding jobs in Banking,
Finance and Government Sector. Total 15 students
participated in this session. He was welcomed by
Dr. Manoj B. Patel, HOD, MMS Department with
a token of gratitude. Mr. Amul started the session
by introducing the Government Banking sector.
Thereafter he suggested students to set SMART
goals about they want to be and guided them about
the skills required to achieve the goals. He
informed students about State and Central
Government jobs. He also explained a centralized
process for the banking jobs through IBPS website.
He also educated students about various banking
exams conducted by Union Bank of India, SBI,
IBPS, LIC etc., recruitment, vacancies, schedule of
exams, selection processes, exam pattern, how to
attempt the exams, eligibility criteria, examination
scheme, etc. Further, he suggested some tips to
crack the exams. He also put light on current
scenario and statistics regarding vacancies in
different sectors. At the end of the session, he
interacted with students and cleared their doubts,
queries.

Online Knowledge Sharing Session on
Soft Skills
The learning of soft skills becomes an important
and integral part for the management students.
Keeping in mind this objective, MMS Department
of IMRD organized online knowledge sharing
session for the students of final year MMS course
on 24th
December 2020. Total 16 students
participated in this session.
Mr. Dinesh A. Borase, Assistant Professor of Soft
Skills of IMRD gave insights to the aspiring
students. Mr. Borase took an interactive session
where he explained through examples the
importance of soft skills learning. The session
opened with introducing the realities of the
industry; the serious skills gap and shortage found
in the industry, which were evident through various
surveys and statistics. Along with explaining the
importance of how soft skills play an important
role in professional life, Mr. Borase also explained
how we intend to impart the training for acquiring
the same. He illustrated how acquiring these skills
are crucial for professional as well as personal
development. The entire session was very
interactive; students took active part in
understanding the topics. Students absorbed the
information and shared their experiences. They
learned to develop these skills through various
simple yet effective ways.

HIV AIDS Awareness Poster
Competition
NSS Unit of IMRD organized a poster competition
on HIV AIDS Awareness. This competition was
organized on 28th
December 2020 for first year
students of BBA, BCA, BMS, IMCA and NSS
volunteers.
The inspiration behind organizing this competition
was to enable the students to know the various
causes of HIV AIDS and prevent it by spreading
awareness in the society, to increase the alertness
and sensitivity of students about the current
scenario of HIV AIDS in the country and to
demonstrate the health education to peoples about
HIV AIDS etc.
Total 68 students participated in this competition
with great zeal and enthusiasm and expressed their
thoughts on different aspects of HIV AIDS through
their posters. After evaluation of posters, final three
winners were selected. The first winner was Mr.
Bhuvan Bhavesh Ahire, IMCA-I. The second
winner was Mr. Vedant Jitendra Mahajan, IMCA-I
and third winner was Ms. Rutuja Ajay
Dharmadhikari, BBA-I.

Road Safety Awareness Week and Slogan
Competition
Institute celebrated Road Safety Awareness Week
under NSS Unit in association with Nashik First,
The Advantage Nashik Foundation, Nashik. It was
from 28th
December 2020 to 2nd
January 2021.
During this week, road safety and traffic awareness
training program and slogan competition was
organized to bring more awareness among youth.
There were 314 participants. "It is necessary that
everyone should follow traffic rules. All those
rebels who don‟t care to follow the rules are in
constant danger. It is our moral duty to follow road
safety rules", these words were said by Dr. Vaishali
B. Patil, Director, IMRD on the account of road
safety awareness week. On 28th
December 2020,
Mr. Mayur Bagul was the resource person who
guided BCA-I students on various traffic rules and
safety measures. On 30th
December 2020, Mrs.
Sonali Pawar was the resource person who guided
BBA-I students. On 1st January 2020 again Mr.
Mayur Bagul addressed students of BMS-I and
NSS volunteers. Also the slogan competition was
organized on 29th
December 2020 on road safety
awareness for first year students of BBA, BCA,
BMS, IMCA and NSS volunteers. Students
showcased their artistic skills at a slogan writing
competition. For this competition 48 students
participated from the assigned classes. The first
winner was Ms. Shivani Sanjay Tapase, BBA-I.
Second winner was Mr. Vedant Jitendra Mahajan,
IMCA-I and third winner was Ms. Himangi Vikas
Patil, BBA-I. NSS Program Officer Mr. Manoj B.
Patil, Mrs. Chhaya S. Patil, Mr. Vivek N. Chavan,
Mr. V. R. Garge and Mr. S. P. Nikam have taken
enormous efforts for this program.

Birth Anniversary of Savitribai
Phule
Institute of Management Research and
Development, Shirpur celebrated 189th
Birth
Anniversary of Savitribai Phule (3rd
January 2021)
on 2nd
January 2021 in online mode. In this session
total 60 participants including staff members were
present.
During this online session, Mr. Manoj N. Behere,
Assistant Director, IMRD shared valuable thoughts
on Savitribai Phule‟s contribution in social reform.
He said that, “Savitribai Phule was born on 3rd
January, 1831 in Maharashtra‟s Satara district.
Savitribai Phule and Jyotirao Phule had opened
India's first school for women at Pune in 1848.
Savitribai Phule had set up care programs for
widows, lead campaigns against caste-based
discrimination, Sati tradition and child marriage. In
her honor, the University of Pune was renamed as
Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2014”.
This session was conducted in online mode through
Zoom application. Mr. Manoj N. Behere, Dr.
Manoj. B. Patel, MMS Department HOD, Mr.
Tushar R. Patel, UG Department HOD, staff
members and NSS volunteers were participated in
this online session.

Campus Placement Drive of Ideal Tech
Info, Nashik
Training and Placement Cell of IMRD organized
virtual campus placement drive in association with
Ideal Tech Info, Nashik for MCA and IMCA 2020-
2021 batch on 2nd
January 2021.
Total 10 students from MCA and IMCA were
shortlisted for the drive and gave virtual technical
interview.
Among 10 students, 4 students cracked this
interview and selected as Web Developer. The
names of selected students are Mr. Rahul Badgujar
(IMCA), Ms. Bhagyashri Mali (MCA), Mr.
Vithoba Mali (IMCA) and Ms. Pallavi Rajput
(IMCA).
The selected students thanked to Institute, The
Director of IMRD Dr. Vaishali B. Patil, Training

Road Safety Traffic Awareness Training
Program
CSI‟s student branch of IMRD organized a webinar
on “Road Safety Traffic Awareness Training
Program" for IMCA-1st and IMCA-2
nd year
students on 4th
January 2021. Total 80 students
were present for this webinar. For this webinar we
invited resource person Mrs. Sonali Pawar, Road
Safety Instructor, Advantage Nashik Foundation,
Nashik. The objective of this program was to create
awareness about traffic safety.
In this webinar Mrs. Sonali focused on parking
rules, overloaded vehicles, zebra crossing, wrong
side driving, wrong overtaking, over speed,
violation of traffic rules, not use of mobile phone
while driving, usage of seatbelt and helmets while
driving, don‟t drink and drive, causes and
consequences of road traffic crashes, legislation
related to traffic accidents, understanding traffic
control devices (Traffic Signals, Road Signs and
Road Marking) etc.
Students enjoyed this webinar. All the students
thanked to CSI‟s students branch and MCA
Department for organizing such a great webinar.

Power Point Presentation Competition
UG Department of IMRD organized a virtual
Power Point Presentation Competition from 4th
January to 16th
January 2021, through zoom
application for the students of FYBBA.
The objectives of the competition were to enhance
the soft skills amongst students, to develop the art
of public speaking, to develop the art of public
speaking, to encourage self-learning among
students, to enable the participants to organize their
thoughts and present them in a systematic manner,
to promote asynchronous learning amidst the
global pandemic and familiarize participants with
information technology and use these tools
effectively in the self-learning process etc.
Total 60 students from FYBBA participated in this
competition. The competition created a positive
environment amongst the students wherein they
were high on spirits and enthusiasm, that urged
them to showcase their creativity to their optimum
level.
Mr. Dinesh A. Borase, Assistant Professor, Soft
Skills of UG Department, IMRD evaluated the
presentations on the basis of contents, relevance
with the topic, usage of Power Point tools, colour
scheme, background effects and presentation skills.
It was a remarkable show of talent. Mr. Tushar R.
Patel, HOD of UG Department was highly
impressed with the presentation skills of the
students and congratulated the winners.

Road Safety and Traffic Awareness
Training Program for staff
Institute‟s Staff Welfare Committee organized
Road Safety and Traffic Awareness Training
Program for teaching and non-teaching staff
members in association with Nashik First, The
Advantage Nashik Foundation, Nashik on 6th
January 2021. The objective of this training was to
bring more awareness among staff members and
also aware and guide them about road safety and
traffic awareness. Total 47 staff members
participate in this Training Program.
For this program Mr. Srikant R. Karode, Road
Safety Instructor, Advantage Nashik Foundation,
Nashik was the resource person who guided IMRD
staff members on various traffic rules and safety
measures.
Various points were covered during this online
training program related to road safety and
accidents like understanding traffic control devices,
traffic signals, road signs, road marking, legislation
related to traffic accidents, causes and
consequences of road traffic crashes, don‟t drink
and drive, usage of seatbelt and helmets while
driving, not use of mobile phone while driving,
violation of traffic rules, parking rules, overloaded
vehicles, zebra crossing, over speed etc. Resource
persons well explained the basics and statistics
about the traffic and accidents occurring on the
road that is very serious issue in the country as well
as across the world. For organization of this
program Mr. J. E. Rajput, Mrs. V. A. Gorle, Mr. S.
S. Surana, Mr. A. K. Gaur, Ms. R. R. Patil and Mr.
N. U. Mali took efforts.

Online Quiz Competition on Occasion of
National Youth Day
Cultural Committee of IMRD organized Online
Quiz Competition on Occasion of National Youth
Day on 12th
January 2021. The main objectives of
arranging this online activity were to aware
students about how Swami Vivekananda did great
work in his youth, to inspire and to awaken today's
young generation. In this quiz competition total
185 students were participated from various
classes.
This activity was conducted online through Google
form to interact with students in this covid-19
situation. In Google form we included one
motivational video of Swami Vivekananda and
based on video we asked objective and descriptive
type questions to students. At the end of
competition, the responses received from students
were checked and best three students were
announced winners based on their score.
In this competition, Ms. Nikita Saner from BCA-I
(1st Prize), Ms. Divya Kukreja from BBA-II (2
nd
Prize) and Mr. Bhushan Borase from BMS-III (3rd
Prize) got the awards.
Hon. Director Dr. Vaishali B. Patil, HODs of all
Departments, faculty members and administrative
staff congratulated the winners and participants. To
make this competition fruitful, Mr. V. R. Garge,
Mrs. P. S. Saindane, Mr. M. K. Bhavsar, Mr. V. A.

National Youth Day
On the occasion of 158
th Swami Vivekananda‟s
birth anniversary, NSS unit of IMRD celebrated
National Youth Day in the institute on 12th
January
2021. On this occasion garland to photo of Swami
Vivekananda was done by the Director of Institute
Dr. Vaishali B. Patil in presence of Assistant
Director of Institute Mr. Manoj N. Behere and staff
members.
On this occasion Dr. Vaishali B. Patil madam
addressed to staff members about motive behind
celebration of Swami Vivekananda‟s birth
anniversary and National Youth Day. While
addressing, madam gave many motivational
examples of youth energy and capabilities and also
felt sadness of Covid-19 pandemic and absence of
students in such programs.
On this event, Institute also organized “Online Best
Message Competition” for the final year students of
Arts, Commerce and Science streams of Institutes
and Colleges of Jalgaon, Dhule and Nandurbar
Districts. In this competition more than 350
students were participated. From all participants
best three winners were selected and Institute
offered certificates to them.

Session on Financial Awareness and
Planning
The Staff Welfare Committee of the Institute
organized a session on the Financial Awareness
and Planning on 16th
January 2021 in online mode
using Goggle Meet platform for teaching and
administrative staff members of Institute. Total 45
participants were participated in this program. Mr.
Sameer Pakale and Mr. Madhukar Pansare were the
invited resource persons for this session. Mr.
Sameer Pakale is the Branch Manager of NJ India
Invest Pvt. Ltd. Pune and Mr. Madhukar Pansare is
the AMFI registered mutual fund distributor.
The basic objective of this session was to provide
insight about the various investment opportunities
available in the stock market and how a wise
investment decision can provide good return on the
investment. The Director of Institute Dr. Vaishali
B. Patil madam explained how financial
management helps to face the unprecedented
events such as Covid-19 pandemic.
Mr. Sameer Pakale sir explained financial planning
with its importance with individual perspective,
sectors to invest, role of capital and equity market,
different asset class, concept of mutual fund etc.
Mr. Madhukar Pansare sir nicely conducted the
question answer session. All the participants had
taken active participation in this session.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Birth
Anniversary
On 23rd
January 2021, NSS Unit of Institute
celebrated 125th
birth anniversary of Netaji
Subhash Chandra Bose. Total 69 participants were
there. Mr. Sachin S. Surana had initiated the
program. Mr. Amit P. Patil, Assistant Professor,
IMRD offered a garland to the photo of Netaji. Mr.
Amit in his speech talked about the contributions of
Netaji for the independence. Sir had also
highlighted the latest decision of Government of
India to celebrate the birth anniversary of Netaji as
„Parakram Divas- a day of courage to honor and
remember the indomitable spirit and selfless
service to the nation‟. Afterwards all faculty
members paid tribute to Netaji.
The inspiring session of Mr. Vijay R. Garge,
Assistant Professor, IMRD was also organized on
this occasion for the students of IMRD through
online mode. In this online session, Mr. Garge
highlighted on thoughts of Netaji for the youth of
21st century, he shared the life and incredible story
of Netaji, also talked on the management skills of
Netaji as a leader of the century in the struggle of
freedom.

National Girl Child Day
The National Girl Child Day was celebrated on 24th
January 2021. This program was organized by the
Student Development Department of Institute.
Total 50 participants attended this program. The
basic objectives of this session were to celebrate
national girl child day, to make girl students aware
about their strengths, to create awareness about
save girls etc. Mr. Tushar R. Patel, HOD of UG
Department, IMRD was the resource person in this
event. The resource person interacted with the girl
students to explain the various efforts institute is
taking for their overall development. He gave an
example of institute‟s results where many girl
students consistently getting more marks than boys.
He explained the importance of self confidence in
girl students to acquire anything in life. Students
were motivated after listening him.
This is an annual event celebrated in the institute
along with girl students from various courses. It
creates awareness and offers more support for the
girls in the institute. It is to increase awareness
among students about the inequalities faced by the
girl child in the society. Inequality about girl child
is a big problem that includes many areas like
inequality in education, nutrition, legal rights,
medical care, protection, honor, child marriages
child abuse and many more. All the girl students
got motivated and interacted through their thoughts
on the day. They promised to perform and give
their best in the academic life. Most of the students
said that it is useful and asked for conduction of
more programs in future. Mr. A. P. Patil, Mrs. C. S.

The National Voters’ Day
The National Voters‟ Day was celebrated on 25th
January 2021. This program was organized by
Student Development Department and NSS Unit of
IMRD. Mr. Manoj N. Behere, Assistant Director
and HOD of MCA/IMCA Department, IMRD
delivered the speech on this occasion. In his
speech, he said that the national voters‟ day is
celebrated on 25th
January every year in all over
India. This is the day of establishment of the
Election Commission of India. This celebration
was started on 25th
January 2011.
The main objectives of this celebration were to
create awareness about rights and duties of eligible
voters of our democratic system, to spread
awareness among voters for promoting informed
participation in the electoral process. On this
occasion, 73 participants including faculty
members and students were present.

12 Days Skill Development Program by
Infosys, Bangalore
The Training and Placement Cell of Institute
organized virtual 12 days Skill Development
Program for final year BCA, BBA and BBM
students in collaboration with Infosys, Bangalore
from 1st February to 16
th February 2021. The first
session was inaugurated by Ms. Reena Ravi, Ms.
Shalini and Mr. Joseph Monis (CSR Team, Infosys,
Banglore). In inauguration session, the Director of
Institute Dr. Vaishali B. Patil madam virtually
welcomed the CSR team and trainers from Infosys,
Banglore and expressed her gratitude for
organizing this virtual training program. IMRD has
always the vision of upbringing its students to such
a higher level from where they should touch the
success as fast as they can. Total 155 students were
participated for the assessment test through which
Infosys team shortlisted 106 students for skill
development program. Ms. Apoorva Uke and Ms.
Keerthi Chalakaran from Banglore were the
resource persons for this program. In this training
program the trainers trained all students on
different topics like Communication Skills,
Business Writing, Essay writing, Email writing,
Grammar, Interview Skills, Resume Writing etc.
This was a great initiative taken by Infosys who is
trying to make employable youth of India and
increase the percentage of placement ratio.
For successful conduction of this training program
efforts were taken by Training and Placement

Tamboli, Mr. Dinesh A. Borse, Mr. Sufiyan M.

12 Days Skill Development Program by Infosys,

Three Days MCA Induction Program
MCA Department organized three days induction
program for newly admitted students of MCA from
4th
February to 6th
February 2021. The objectives of
program were to make the students comfortable in
new environment, to create bonding among
students as well as between faculties and students.
Total 126 students attended this program. In the
beginning, Assistant Director and HOD of
MCA/IMCA Department Mr. Manoj N. Behere
introduced the students with culture of IMRD and
put forewords. Afterwards “Wings of IMRD” PPT
was presented by Mr. Nikhil U. Mali and Mr.
Rahul D. Chaudhari. The presidential speech was
delivered by respected Director of Institute Dr.
Vaishali B. Patil. Madam motivated students,
guided them in variety of aspects. For this program,
chief guest was Mr. Rahul Patil, Alumni of IMRD.
He is working as a Project Leader in Larson and
Turbo Infotech Ltd. at Florida, USA. He guided
students regarding new technologies in market,
how to start and prepare for career etc. Mrs. Raksha
Sushir gave the importance of communication skill
and efforts taken by IMRD to achieve it.
Motivational and inspirational session was
conducted by Mr. Amit P. Patil. Library
Orientation session was taken by Mrs. Kavita G.
Patil. Mr. Suraj P. Nikam conducted session on
Diagnostic and Aptitude Test. Mrs. Sapana B.
Raghuwanshi gave presentation on Etiquettes and
Dressing Sense. “Think? Out of Box” session was
conducted by Mr. Swapnil P. Deshmukh, Talent
Hunt activity was conducted by Ms. Rohini R.

Webinar on Cyber Safety Awareness
Webinar on Cyber Safety Awareness was
organized by Yuvati Sabha Committee of Institute
on 12th
February 2021. Prof. Sweta Dargad,
Assistant Professor, U. V. Patel College of
Engineering, Ganpat University, Gujarat delivered
the speech on this occasion. Total 136 Participants
attended this program.
Webinar began with the basic concept of Cyber
Safety and how to protect against cyber bullying
like don‟t share your identity, update your
software, always logout etc. Prof. Sweta explained
what to do in case of being cyber bullied like
someone is harassing or threatening you; she also
gave demonstration on phishing and how to avoid
phishing attack. She explained the topics such as
plagiarism, computer virus and its types. Madam
also gave some quick tips about computer virus,
focused on internet addiction and its symptoms,
and explained how to avoid internet addiction. She
gave some important internet safety tips, explained
a settings to stop receiving unnecessary SMS using
BOMBitUp application.
All the participants were interactive throughout the
session and clarified their doubts about the topics
discussed. The session ended with a vote of thanks

The CSI‟s student branch of Institute organized a
webinar on “Wireless Sensor Networks: An
Introduction" on 13th
February 2021. Total 103
students were present for this webinar from IMRD
and Central University of Jharkhand. For this
webinar cum expert talk we invited Dr. Kanojia
Sindhuben Babulal, Assistant Professor,
Department of Computer Science and Technology,
Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi, India as a
resource person. The objectives of this webinar
were to introduce students with overview of
wireless sensor networks, to describe wireless
sensor networks and its specifications, study of
different wireless modules, study of different
topologies and network etc.
In this webinar, Dr. Kanojia focused on challenges
and hurdles in WSN, broad categories of sensor
networks, applications of wireless sensor,
Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), commercial
generations of sensor networks, energy conversion
scheme, factors responsible for power
consumption, summary of WSN, routing strategies,
operating system in WSN, installation process etc.
Students enjoyed this webinar. All the students
thanked the CSI‟s student branch and MCA and
IMCA department for organizing such a great
webinar for them.

Celebration of Sant Gadge Baba Jayanti
IMRD‟s NSS Unit celebrated Sant Gadge Baba
Jayanti on 23rd
February 2021. Mr. Manoj N.
Behere, Assistant Director, IMRD was the guest in
this event. Total 95 participants were there. On this
occasion resource person spoke on the life of the
great social leader Sant Gadge Baba and said that
Sant Gadge Baba used to travel village to village in
Maharashtra and started cleaning the gutters and
roads, through this he spread the message of
cleanliness and values like service to humanity and
compassion, Sant Gadge Baba is known for his
work for the society and also known for „Cleaning
Village Mission‟. Resource person also said that
Sant Gadge Baba was a social reformer, created
awareness about cleanliness among the peoples.
Further he said that in Baba‟s honor, The
Government of India has started the 'Sant Gadge
Baba Swachata Abhiyan' in 2000-01. This program
awards prizes to villagers, who maintain clean
villages. At last he also spoke about the importance
of cleanliness during this COVID-19 pandemic and
appeals students to maintain cleanliness in their
nearby areas and home to stay healthy.
First year students of MCA and NSS volunteers
along with Institute‟s staff attended this program
and came to know about the importance of
sanitation and cleanliness. In this program vote of

Project Management Workshop
In Institute, Project Management Workshop for
students of TYBBA and TYBMS was organized
from 23rd
February to 27th
February 2021. Total 95
participants attended this program. The objectives
of this workshop were to prepare the students with
skills which will enable them to think critically,
analyze information and apply it in modern
business contexts, to help students to understand
the various functional areas of business. The
workshop was inaugurated by the Director of
Institute Dr. Vaishali B. Patil, Assistant Director
Mr. Manoj N. Behere, HOD of MMS Department
Dr. Manoj B. Patel and HOD of UG Department
Mr. Tushar R. Patel.
The workshop was conducted by faculties which
are experts in the subjects given to them. Project
introduction and university guidelines regarding
project were given by Mr. Amar K. Gaur, Topic
selection of the project was explained by Mr. Amul
S. Tamboli. Framing the project objectives and
scope of project was described by Mr. Laxmikant
M. Sharma, Research methodologies of project
were described by Mr. Yogesh C. Shethiya, Data
analysis and interpretation was explained by Mr.
Sachin S. Surana, Project report writing was teach
by Mr. Amul S. Tamboli.
The workshop ended with a feedback session of
students in which students shared their views and
experiences they got. They thanked to Institute for
this wonderful workshop. For this workshop efforts
were taken by Mr. Sufiyan M. Bagwan.

Online Session on Yoga for You during
COVID-19 Pandemic
IMRD‟s NSS Unit organized an online session on
the topic “Yoga for You during COVID-19
Pandemic” on 25th
February 2021 in online mode.
Total 178 participants attended this session. The
purpose of session was to encourage and to give
some relief from all ongoing stress and anxiety to
students as well as faculty members during the
pandemic. The program started with welcome
address by NSS Coordinator Mr. Manoj B. Patil
who welcomed the resource person Mr. Bharat
Wahle, Yoga Trainer, faculty members, NSS
volunteers and students. He also motivated the
participants about importance of yoga in our life
during COVID-19. Mr. Bharat started his session
with the chanting of „OM‟ followed by warm-up
exercises and the importance of these was also
explained simultaneously. Thereafter he gave detail
information and importance of yoga. In his session
he also explained and demonstrated various
ASANAAS. The ASANAAS are very useful in the
present COVID -19 pandemic situations to improve
upon the mental health as well as physical strength.
At last, yoga trainer also said that everyone must
make yoga as a part of daily routine as it helps to
maintain good physical and mental wellbeing of a
person. The program concluded with vote of thanks
by Mr. Vivek N. Chavan.

Online Session on Soft Skills
Development Program
The learning of soft skills has become an important
and integral part for the management students.
Keeping in mind this objective NSS Unit of IMRD,
organized a session on “Soft Skills Development
Training Program” for the students of MCA-I,
MMS and NSS volunteers on 26th
February 2021
through online mode. Total 94 participants were
there. Session started with the introduction of
resource person Mr. Dinesh A. Borase by NSS
Program Officer Mrs. Chaaya S. Patil. Mr. Dinesh
A. Borase, Assistant Professor of IMRD was the
facilitator for the training session. The session
opened with top 10 skills required to be succeed in
21st Century for future jobs as per The World
Economic Forum. Mr. Dinesh said that today‟s
world is also called as VUCA (Volatility,
Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) world.
Mr. Dinesh took an interactive session where he
explained through examples the importance of soft
skills learning. He illustrated how acquiring soft
skills are crucial for professional as well as
personal development. The entire session was very
interactive; students took active part in
understanding the topics. Students absorbed the
information and shared their experiences. They
learned to develop soft skills through various
simple yet effective ways. The program was
concluded with vote of thanks presented by Mr.

Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Divas
The Institute organized “Marathi Bhasha Gaurav
Divas" for all IMCA students on 27th
February
2021. The objective of this program was to share
an importance of Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Divas on
birth anniversary of Kavi Kusumagraj. Total 50
students were present in this event.
For this event, Mr. Manoj N. Behere, HOD,
MCA/I-MCA Department, IMRD was the guest. In
his talk, he told importance of “Marathi Bhasha
Gaurav Divas”, why we celebrate it, how was
Marathi language developed, why should we proud
on it etc.
Students actively participated in this event. They
thanked to Institute for organizing such event for
them. To make this program successful Mrs. V. S.
