Zombie Slaughter - 20

Kill 500 zombies.

This will come naturally as you play.

Zombie Destruction - 20

Kill 5,000 zombies.

Either this will come naturally as you play, if not, refer to Zombie Genocide

Master

Z-Genocider 2: Genocide Harder - 20

Kill 53,596 zombies.

Refer to Zombie Genocide Master

Zombie Genocide Master - 20

Kill 72,000 zombies.

Debate is still strong about which method is best. Time is not on your side for

this one.

I will be trying it with the SUV method today, Ill keep this updated once I

know more.

Bike Method: See 'Wrong Kind of "Chopper"'. The big downside of this method

is that you need to play up to case 2 or 3 (???) in order to access a magazine

which increases the durability 3x with your bike.

You could go about with the SUV while waiting for the cases to pop... like I

said, I'll update this ASAP.

There's a coop glitch that lets you obtain an inventory full of bike magazines.

Vigilante Justice - 20

Defeat 5 psychopaths.

Defeat 10 psychopaths.

The game features well over 10 psychopaths, and some storyline bosses

count as psychopaths as well, so this achievement should pose little trouble.

Below is a list of the non-storyline messages that feature a psychopath, so

that you can prepare accordingly.

- World's Most Dangerous Trick

In addition to these, theres another foursome that will appear in Fortune

Park at a certain point in the game and then theres Ted, Snowflakes master,

which you can kill at the very start of the game. Refer to The Skill to Survive

for more information about this non-messaged psychopath.

If you have trouble killing some of these, click here for a guide.

Zombie Fu - 20

Kill 1,000 zombies barehanded.

Youll want to wait until you have leveled up quite a bit and obtained the

smash grab skill. Simply use the smash grab move (hold + ), until you

achieved 1000 kills. Also, Smashy requires 100 kills with this move.

If you really cannot wait, use the jumpkick ( then ) skill on a regular basis

while playing through the storyline.

The kills for this achievement is spread across all playthroughs.

Note: The skills you receive for leveling are variable. Dont panic if you still

havent received the smash grab skill.

Wrong kind of "Chopper" - 20

Kill 1,000 zombies while riding a motorcycle.

During the game, youll get a message Meet the contestants, that wants you

to meet up with Leon at the Platinum Strip.

Youll be given Bike Keys when you start this mission. After completing it,

you will gain access to the bikes workshop, which can be found inside a

container close to the entrance of Yucatan Casino.

Ride your bike in there and bring a chainsaw, located in the Maintenance

room directly across the Slot Ranch Casino's entrance on the Silver Strip, to

attach it to your bike and start decimating the zombies outside.

If your bike breaks down, simply enter another area and return to reassemble

the chainsaw to bike.

A durability magazine which can be found in the northernmost room of the

Slot Ranch Casino, will help reduce your downtime of reassembling your bike.

The room can only be accessed when progressed up to case 2 in the

storyline.

He hasn't covered wars... - 20

Use every type of firearm on a zombie.

Simply use the firearms listed below on a zombie. This can be achieved in

multiple playthroughs.

Assault Rifle

BFG (Combo Weapon, refer to Duct Tape FTW)

Handgun

LMG

Merc Rifle (Only found during storyline cases)

Shotgun (Weapon Shop in Pallisades Mall)

There are more than 50 to be saved during the game and its possible to

obtain this while doing the storyline aswell, but I strongly suggest to keep

these for a separate playthrough. Save what you can for the PP, but don't

neglect the storyline.

Since youll be playing through the game more than once, there is little need

to grind it out. Various actions will reward you with PP, the leveling currency

of Dead Rising 2, such as saving survivors, killing psychopaths, killing

zombies with combo weapons,

Even throwing money in a fire will get you some PP !

I wouldnt worry about this, in order to obtain all achievements, youll be

getting more than enough to hit the mark and unlock this achievement.

Fashion Aficionado - 20

Change into 10 different pieces of clothing.

Change into all the clothes in the game.

Look at all that juice!- 20

Create and consume all mixed drinks in the game.

Combine two kinds of food/drinks to obtain one of the 9 results. Mix and

consume all 9 to receive this achievement.

Mixers can be found in various locations throughout the game. The one at the

food court at the Mexican restaurant seems to be the most central point forthis achievement, since you can find most of the food there anyway.

Eat all types of food in the game.

Simply consume all different types of food (this includes drinks). This can be

achieved in multiple playthroughs

Note: All types of rotten food can be found in trashcans INSIDE the

restaurants of the Food Court. Do not bother with the ones outside, they

often only have sodas/guns/snacks. You only need to eat one rotten food, not

every one in the list.

Having A Gas20

Kill 1,000 "special" zombies.

Near the end of the storyline, mutated zombies will populate Fortune City,

which are easily spotted by their aggressive stance and ranged blood-

spewing ability.

Refer to Wrong Kind of Chopper on how to get your 1000 kills with relative

ease.

Note: You only have one shot at this once they appear. Failing to get this

achievement will result in another storyline playthrough to get to this point.

This does not need to be done in one sitting, but with the ongoing disconnect

problems, I'd advise to do so for now.

Spend $6,000,000 in Fortune City.

See 'Zombie Genocide Master' and find the link to the 'SUV Method'. The first

Improper Behavior - 20

Spraypaint all Zombrex posters.

Throughout the game, youll find zombrex posters of various shapes and

sizes. Refer to the video for the locations. Must be done in one playthrough.

Keep in mind that one poster in the Arena is behind closed doors if you

neglect the storyline. If you choose to do this in a non-storyline playthrough,

follow it up to Case 1-3 in order to unlock said door.

For the 'Tape it or Die' survivors, see 'Hero of Fortune City'. You will have to

do a side mission for them, but it won't be until much later in the game thatyou actually rescue them. There's not enough time to rescue them on a non-

storyline playthrough, so make sure you do it while solving cases.

Note: Some people have reported that the door to 'Tape it or Die' doesn't

open while it's supposed to. This is possibly related to the fact that you can

only have 8 survivors active at any one time in the game (safehouse

excluded). The poker team in Atlantica Casino appear around the same time,

make sure to rescue/kill them first.

You will obtain this skill by leveling up. Once you do so, proceed with killing

zombies by holding + , to grab its head and smash it against whatevers

around. Best done close to a wall or a shop counter. Whatever works best.

This is possibly also the fastest way to obtain Zombie Fu

Stick it to a zombie by covering him in weapons and objects!

Decorate a zombie with a small painting, normal painting, mask and barrel.

Discovered The Secret Combo Card. Did You Cheat By Checking Online?

This is a very easy achievement to obtain. Once you have access to queens

(youll know when you do once you watched the Queen bee cutscene), simply

mix two orange juices to make nectar.

Once you have done so, a queen bee will spawn. Grab it and combine it along

with the nectar at a maintenance room to unlock a Combo Card and an

achievement.
