The varying shapes and sizes of the barrels and baskets allow for a wide range of operations including cleaning, debuning, separating, stripping, polishing, or coating. Both Model 5 10 and 1600 are driven by a 115 V/60 Hz electric motor. Model 510 weighs only 6 lb with a load capacity of 5 lb. Model 1600 weighs 15 lb and has a load capacity of 20 lb. Each model requires less than 2 ft* of bench space. Walther Corp. offers drag finishers from 84 in. to 168 in. in diameter with part deburring and polishing without part contact. Tailored for contoured parts, drag finishers utilize two basic elements, #l A circular bowl containing stationary loose abrasive or polishing media and #2 A circular rotating turret above the bowl with multiple rotating part fixture stations. Parts to be finished are attached singly or in groups to individual part fixture stations located around the perimeter and under the main turret. The rotating turret is then lowered so the parts are submerged and dragged through the stationary loose abrasive or polishing media.
