“Hi, my name is Dylan and I live on a farm and I’m 5 years old and mom says I’m a trouble maker.

I love my puppy Max, he is a brown color and mom says he’s a mutt but I think he is cute and I have a puppy named Oreo, and I have a cat named Jewels. Mommy also has a German Shepherd have a mommy and a daddy and I have my baby

sister Kimberly or just plain old Kim. And I have a farm.”

I just found out a problem. I’ve never had a dentist appointment before and mom said I’m going to the Dentist! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. All the kids at school say they use a drill and they yank your teeth out with pliers!

“Dylan would you stop screaming! You need to go to the dentist or your teeth will be rotten.”

“Now go up stairs and have your quiet time please.”

Hi Jewels. I have a devious plan hahahaha, mom will never take me to the dentist if I’m sick.

I reached into my couch cushions and pulled out a red marker. Then I drew big red dots all over my body. Hahaha she’ll never take me now!

Ahhaahahahaaahhhhh I chuckled .

“Mommy I don’t feel good.”

“Oh my goodness, child what happened?”

“Well I started to feel sick and then these dots started coming.”

“ Well I’ll have to cancel your dentist appointment then”

“Now go up to your room and rest.”

“Yippy!!!” I don’t have to go to the dentist.” He sang.

“Dylan lets give you a bath then maybe you’ll feel better.”

Mom put some hot water in the tub and I jumped in. At that instant the water turned bright red. I jumped out of the water fast and mom gasped.

“What in the world!, what is this.”“Well I don’t know mom.” I said.

“Well I sure do, your lying that has to be marker, because you don’t have spots anymore.” Mom said as she focused on hitting her hand with a big wooden spoon.

“Dylan you lied to me and that will cause a big problem, you will be grounded from TV for a week. So you can sit

in your bed and think about what you did because I already canceled your dentist appointment.”

“Now you march yourself up to your bedroom young man.”

Well I thought I could hoax mom so I guess she’s smarter then I thought.

Well I’ll consider what I did all right and how to plan then next thing to stop my dentist appointment. Cause I’m not going no matter what.

I have a excellent idea! That will actually work, and a bad one. I’ll go outside and rub poison ivy all over me and surely I wont have to go to the dentist, but I will be very itchy.

“Mommy can I go outside and get some fresh air?”“Why sure that sounds great but all you have to

come in at 3:00 because you have your dentist appointment, Okay?”

“Yes, mommy.”“YEAH!”

Now daddy did say to stay away from the poison ivy because it will itch and give me a rash. Found it! I reached inside the log and went to pick some up when ahhhhh a bee flew out and almost stung me. I grabbed the ivy and rubbed it all over then I went inside.

“Dylan what did you do this time?”“Well I was playing and I fell and I landed in an

itchy plant.”“Well go to the tub and I’ll get so oatmeal to help

the itching and I guess I’ll cancel your Dentist appointment.”

I just finished my bath when mom said we are not

canceling one more time!Infact I am actually not canceling get up stairs get

dressed and be ready to go.

My heart beated really fast and I thought of how I could do something to stop me from going to the dentist.

I think maybe I can pop mom’s tire. No, I am out of ideas maybe I better just go and then die while they are using then drill and pliers.

I ran to my room and said my last goodbyes’ to all my animal friends and special things because I am not going to come home alive.

Mom put me in my car seat and buckled me up and then we set off for the dentist.

When we arrived I was about to set down when somebody called my name.

“Dylan time for your cleaning.”

I walked into the room it was big and I saw a huge tool above me it looked like a camera but I was sure that that was the drill. Then I saw big pinchers that must have been pliers!

The dentist introduced himself and then told me what was going to happen. I nodded as a big lump formed in my throat. Surely I was going to die. He told me to open my mouth wide and that she had to brush my teeth.

I did as I was told and closed my eyes.

It tickled so I fell on the floor screaming and laughing.

Ahhhhhaaa that tickles.

Well then that’s it your teeth are clean and your

appointment is over now go pick a prize for being so good

Wow! I peered into the drawer and look at all the prizes.

Right away the kite caught my eye. I grabbed it and then went to mommy.

“Ready to go?”

“Yes mommy.”

She buckled me in and we drove back home.

“Now was that so bad, honey?”“Nope.”“Can I go to the dentist tomorrow and the next day

and the next day?”“I’m afraid not but you know what you may do to

make the dentist happy? Brush your teeth, okay?”

When they got home Dylan went to fly his kite and then he said “now why was I so afraid of the Dentist?”
