Dream Cast Comparison

 This is a dream cast comparison. We are comparing Kuda who will be playing Shaun to Ashley Walters (also known as Asher D). Ashley Walters is a well-known actor and film director, especially in the teen drama/crime genre. He’s starred in Bulletboy which is one of the films that is similar to our film opening.

We imagined that the main protagonist will be a male of ethnic background. Just like Asher D. The male will be a young adult. We thought this would be suitable because from the opening of the films that we watched the main character is from a ethic up-brining whether its socially or environmentally.

The black jacket is an iconic item of clothing that most urban young male tend to wear. Especially with a hood as it makes it look intimidating.

Facial expression:• Serious• Unhappy• Slightly angryBody Posture:The body language and posture gives the impression that our character that we’ve created is someone not to be messed around with. He looks intimidating, with his hand in his pocket and standing up straight.

Now we are comparing Red Madrell to Me, Hashley. I play Cassie who is Shaun’s younger sister. Cassie is a innocent young girl that doesn’t really get herself caught up in the social life surrounding the estates near her.Madrell played Alisa in Kidulthood. Kidulthood is also a teen drama.

The clothing that I’m wearing is casual. This is because I want to portray a calm young girl. Not a iconic ‘hood girl’

Hair & Make up:The hair and make up of both of us, is minimum. Our hair is down and short and we are both wearing hoop earrings, which are what young teenage girls like to wear.
