CURRICULUM VITAE
EXPERIENCE SUMMARY:
DRILLING SUPERVISOR
I am currently working for Anadarko Mozambique as a Senior Drilling Supervisor on an exploration/
appraisal campaign. I have been a drilling supervisor since 2004 and have worked on Drillships, Semi-
Submersibles and jack-ups in that and various roles. Prior to exploration in Mozambique & Côte
d’Ivoire I was supervising a development program in China consisting of batch drilling and
completion sequences of directional and horizontal sections over 12 to 78 slot jackets with topsides.
In the last three years of that project approximately 20% of operations were workover and well
intervention procedures.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
All aspects of program supervision. Drilling consisting of jetting assemblies, rotary steerable with
the BHA's including real time Neutron Density, Neutron Porosity, Resistivity, Gamma and
directional MWD tools. Down Hole Motors and Gyro for jack up surface directional program.
Open Hole Gravel Packed Horizontal wells, before running the upper completions consisting of
electrical submersible pump’s, sub surface safety valves, stung into Reservoir Control Valve /
Gravel Pack Packer configurations. Other operations supervised include Dual Well Conductor
drilling and completions, Multi-Laterals, Smart Completions, Well Intervention, Well Kill and ESP
pump change outs and perforated Cased Hole Gravel Packed producers.
Ensuring that all safety rules and regulations are followed. Working closely with the Drilling and
Workover Engineers Department to accomplish program objectives and see that the operations
are safely, efficiently and accurately adhered to. Assisting and directing port based logistics
personnel to co-ordinated timely deliveries of company and service company materials and
equipment to the rig as required. Ensuring that the contractor meets all requirements of the
contract and verify all the contractor and service company operations by way of DIMS / Open Wells tour reporting program and field tickets.
PROJECT ENGINEER
In house Project Engineer to KMCPL. Responsible for the pre-project direction of the testing regime
including Swelling and Dispersion, Hardness, Particle Plug Analysis, Particle Sized Distribution, Return
Permeability, Production Screen Testing, Formation Crude Compatibility and Emulsion testing.
Followed up by writing the Drilling and Completion fluid programs, recaps, performing Virtual
Hydraulic modeling and Virtual Completion fluid modeling. Also, collation of dilution, concentration
and cost statistics for forward planning (ordering) and Key Performance Indicator monitoring and
evaluation. I was actively involved in the design, set up and installation of a fluid system for a gravel
pack pumping dedicated completion fluid vessel.
DRILLING FLUID ENGINEER
Duties covered all aspects of the position including testing, reporting, ordering product and
supervision and direction of safety in relation to additions. I believe one of my major strengths in this
position was maintaining programmed mud properties by constant testing, direction and
participation of remedial procedures. And due to my drilling contractor background, being able to
enhance and maximize fluid systems capabilities.
SUPPLY BASE PLANT AND WAREHOUSE MANAGER
The position of Supply Base Plant and Warehouse manager initially involved the reorganization of
staff and the organization of repairs and maintenance to the Dry Bulk facility and the Liquid Mud
Plant. Also computerizing the inventory and filing system, stocktaking and adjustments to the
inventory, sorting and preparation of product. Preparation of Dry Bulk material, Drilling Fluids, Brines
and palletized material and calculation and invoicing for the same, plus arrangement of logistics.
DRILLING CONTACTOR
Covering all aspects of the drilling and completion procedures in positions from Roughneck to
Assistant Driller. Working Deep Water offshore and Land rigs in Australia and North Africa.
I strongly recommend you contact the mentioned referees for confirmation of my work ethic,
character, experience and level of performance. If any further information is required please do not
