Like drink? Like food?You’re in the right place! nordic Bar was London’s first scandinavian venue opening over a decade ago. Over time nordic has become a 2nd home for many scandinavian expats and local Londoners alike.

We want every trip to nordic to be like a work out for your taste buds and we have gone to great lengths to ensure that we have enough different flavours to make sure that they will be fully satisfied.

Our fridges and shelves boast a weird and wonderful array of Beers, Liquors, Ciders & spirits from all 5 of the nordic countries. We stock over twenty flavoured vodkas and have been known to infuse a couple of our own from time to time such as our infamous Chilli Vodka (best in town). For those of you keen to try the more traditional side of scandinavian drinking then we can offer you one of our many Aquavits (scandinavian schnapps) or Liquors such as Gammel Dansk Dram, Heering Cherry or the very popular salmiakki.

ABsOLUt VODkA (40%)is made exclusively from natural ingredients, and unlike other vodkas, it doesn’t contain any added sugar. in fact ABsOLUt is as pure as vodka can be. still, that purity has a certain taste: rich, full-bodied and complex, yet smooth and mellow with a distinct character of grain, followed by a hint of dried fruit.

ABsOLUt VAniLiA (40%)was launched in 2003. Basically because vanilla is one of the most loved flavours in the world. that fact soon made ABsOLUt VAniLiA almost equally popular.

ABsOLUt CitrOn (40%)was good news for “vodka on the rocks with a twist of lemon” fans back in the 80’s (and there were lots of them). More specifically ABsOLUt CitrOn was launched in 1988, nine years after ABsOLUt OriGinAL and two years after the first flavoured family member ABsOLUt PEPPEr. the success was major among the twist-of-lemon-people, but it also became the main ingredient in the blockbuster drink “Cosmopolitan”. The story behind the nameABsOLUt kUrAnt (40%)is black currant, a typical swedish berry from which the flavor is taken. When launched in 1992 it was a tribute to the swedish origin of ABsOLUt. Originally it was even supposed to be called ABsOLUt VinBÄr since the swedish word for black currant is vinbär. Only thing was that the English pronunciation would have been wine bar.

ABsOLUt MAnDrin (40%)was launched in 1999, 20 years after ABsOLUt VODkA. it’s the fourth flavored ABsOLUt in the row after PEPPEr, CitrOn and kUrAnt. And since mandarin and orange are among the most popular flavors in the world, ABsOLUt MAnDrin was received with the same enthusiasm as the rest of the family members.

ABsOLUt PEPPAr (40%)was launched in 1986, seven years after ABsOLUt VODkA. Besides being the first flavored vodka in the family, it was also the first flavoured vodka in the world. so why pepper? since vodka and pepper is the main ingredients in a Bloody Mary, it seemed like a good idea to make things easier for the many Bloody Mary bars popping up in Boston, new York and elsewhere at the time.

ABsOLUt rUBY rED (40%)was introduced in 2006, just a few years after the success with the other citrus flavored members of the family ABsOLUt CitrOn and ABsOLUt MAnDrin. the name ABsOLUt rUBY rED is taken from a special kind of red grapefruit.

Introduced in 2007,ABsOLUt PEArs (40%)is quite a newcomer in the ABsOLUt family. And as with all talented rookies, the audience soon took it to their hearts. Probably because it’s such a good alternative to other overly sugared alternatives around.

ABsOLUt PEACH (40%)was introduced in 2005. it soon found its public around the world, both in Asia where the peach fruit is originally from, and in the part of the world where ABsOLUt is from.

HEErinG COFFEE (35%)Heering Coffee Liqueur delivers a rare blend of Caribbean rum, dark coffee and rich cocoa. Best served on ice.

GAMMEL DAnsk BittEr DrAM (38%)the name “Gammel Dansk” translates as “Old Danish”. it is a Danish bitters which was first released in 1964, having taken three years to develop, and is hugely popular in its native country. the exact recipe is kept secret but it is known to be made from a blend of 29 different herbs and spices, including bay leaves, ginger, rowan berries, anise, cinnamon, angelica and nutmeg.

PistOnHEAD CrUDE OiL (30%)Pistonhead ‘Crude Oil’ is a swedish liquorice liqueur infused with a bit of chilli....Well loads of it actually! its not exactly what you call smooth but we couldn’t be more proud of it! tough, strong flavor with a helluva kick!.

Our delicious tasting cider is made in one place, and one place only; that’s at our family-owned Bryggeri in thetown of kopparberg, sweden, which first opened its doors in 1882. We’ve always done things a bit differently in kopparberg but one thing that’s stayed the same is our recipe which uses the town’s naturally-occurring soft water and has done since we started making cider in 1930. the Einstok Brewery is located just 60 miles south of the Arctic Circle in the fishing port of Akureyri, iceland. there, water flows from rain and prehistoric glaciers down the Hlidarfjall Mountain and through ancient lava fields, delivering the purest water on earth and the perfect foundation for brewing deliciously craft ales.

it started with the search for the best water on the planet. We ultimately found it in the amazing country of iceland, where abundant water is naturally filtered through ancient lava fields. in exploring ways to share this water with the rest of the world, we partnered with Vífilell, a beverage bottler and distributor, and one of the most respected companies in iceland. they also happen to own the Viking Brewery in Akureyri - a fishing port located just 60 miles south of the Arctic Circle. it was there that Bernard La Borie, David Altshuler and Jack sichterman hatched the idea to bring handcrafted, icelandic beer to the world. LAPin kULtA (4.5%)Lapin kulta is a premium lager brewed from the finest ingredients with respect for tradition and nature. this results in a perfectly balanced refreshing yet full-bodied beer.

PistOn HEAD:LOW riDin LAGEr (5.2%)First launched as a limited summer edition at systembolaget in 2010, the Low ridin’ lager is a smooth and somewhat light brew. it has a subtle sweetness from light caramel malt and a discrete bite from Fuggles and Amarillo hops.

MAriEstADs (5.3%)Brewed since 1848, Mariestads is sweden’s no.1 selling premium beer, a quality beer for people who demand nothing less than the best. Produced by spendrups, a family owned brewery dating back to 1735 and sweden’s 2nd largest brewer, Mariestads is a multi award winning beer in a class of its own.
