2020 Warbirds Ticket Purchases

Titanium Pass Our exclusive ONE day pass for either Saturday or Sunday giving you the ultimate in luxury on the flightline. Your marquee is on the runway.• A continual buffet, including complimentary Continental breakfast

(7.30am to 11am), morning and afternoon teas, lunch and renowned Central Otago wines and beer, from 9am to 4pm.

• A Titanium pack including entry to Warbirds and Wheels Museum. Free WiFi and closed circuit television. Priority parking/ transport to the Titanium enclosure if required.

• Mingle with pilots, get autographs and walk the flight line. Passes are limited to 100 persons each day and are only available in advance.

Gold Pass

The three day Gold Pass gives you the best seats at the Airshow in a grandstand on the runway. • Delicious food options are available for purchase throughout the

day with breakfast from 7.30am• Beverages including wine, spirits and beer from the cash bar and

one complimentary drink with ongoing tea, coffee and water. • Watch the Airshow on the CCTV. A free pack with Gold cap, badge

and programme. • Priority parking and transport to the Gold Pass marquee if required.This pass is only available in limited numbers.

Hurricane Tim Pass A one day pass for Saturday or Sunday. A marquee in the middle of the flight-line, with a grass area and seating (no grandstand). Pass includes Airshow entry, all day tea and coffee, morning and afternoon teas, lunch from the BBQ Grill and access to a cash bar.This pass is only available in limited numbers.

Silver Pass

The Silver Pass provides tiered grandstand seating on the runway, with onsite amenities but no covered facility. Refreshments may be purchased from different coffee, food and beverage stalls at the rear of the stand.This pass is only available in limited numbers.

More than 30 years on, Warbirds Over Wanaka International Airshow is firmly established as one of the world’s ‘must-do’ Warbirds airshows. The event is run by the Warbirds Over Wanaka Community Trust and

our mission is: ‘To educate through the celebration and promotion of aviation past and present.’

Airshow Programme 2020All days are open to the general public and car parking is free.

Friday 10th April – Practice Day No airshow scheduled this day.

Gates open at 7.30am – Check out the ground exhibits while Warbirds practice overhead. Static displays of aircraft from modern military to sport aircraft. The Warhorse re-enactment group and Frankie Singers will entertain while you check out the aviation stands, market stalls, vintage engines and lots more. All food and beverage options open today. While aircraft will be practicing throughout the day there is no formal airshow scheduled.

Lake EventLater on Friday afternoon join us on the Wanaka lakefront for our very popular aircraft displays over the Lake with its stunning mountain backdrop (this is a free community event).

Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th April Airshow days (Programme may vary slightly each day).

Gates open at 7.30am - All static aircraft displays, aviation trade stands, market stalls, merchandise and food and beverage vendors are operational so come early to check out the action on the ground before the aerial displays begin at 10am.

Displaying will be some of the world’s most iconic classic Warbird aircraft along with modern military aircraft. The programme will also feature many other acts including aerobatics, skydiving and sport aircraft. Supporting the aerial displays will be the Warhorse re-enactment group, the Frankie Singers and stunning pyrotechnics.
