DESCRIPTION

I wrote and designed this brochure for the nonprofit organization Driving Concepts Foundation which teaches teens how to be safe and responsible drivers. In the process, I also re-branded the organization with its new logo. Most parents do not understand the need for further drivers training for their teens and feel their child is a good, safe driver. This brochure aimed to educate parents on the need for the class and to explain what was the organization provides.

hat makes Driving Concepts different?

DMV programs teach new drivers the rules of the road, but little about how to drive. Even though it is well recognized that improved driver’s training is the best way to reduce crashes among new drivers, if anything, programs are being reduced, and not improved.

Your child may be able to pass the driving test, but do they know what to do in an emergency situation? The critical choices one makes in a split second can be the difference between life and death. Driving Concepts Foundation gives new drivers experience beyond DMV training, increasing the chances that they will make the right decisions while driving.

How will your child react to an emergency situation?

Driving Concepts Foundation teaches teens how to recognize and avoid crashes by teaching new drivers: Visual Skills Space Management Speed Management Proper Braking Hazard Recognition and Avoidance Vehicle Operation and Management

There is no replacement for experience when it comes to drivers training. We show your teen why safe driving habits work and allow them to practice their skills, building confidence and ability.

We also go a step further by teaching your child what to do in case an accident or emergency happens to ensure their safety, as well as general car maintenance. This teaches responsibility and helps ward off insur-ance fraud, break downs and expensive repair bills.

We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. We retain patient, trained, and professional drivers, or drivers with extensive training, to insure that your teen receives the best instruction possible.

Why does your child need further driver training?
