• gas detection of exhaust pipes and holds

• offshore platform: leg and (bottom) topside inspections

• artificial Intelligence / machine learning for automatic

recognition of damages

• sensors for specific applications (gases, asbestos)

• ‘feeling’ sensors (measuring coating thickness?)

• autonomous flying drones beyond visual line of sight
