WHY AM I APPLYING FOR THE UK STANDARD VISITOR VISA FOR THE COURSE AND THE EXAM?

I am applying for the Standard Visitor Visa in order take the PLAB PART 1 Exam on 6th September 2017 in London.PLAB 1 Examination is Part 1 of the licensing exam for International Medical Graduates who wish to practice medicine in the UK. I have attached the booking confirmation of the PLAB 1 examination.

WHY DO I WANT TO TAKE THE PLAB EXAM?

To be a better doctor, I strongly believe that I have to practice and work in the best health systems in the world, where I can learn from the brightest minds in medicine and effortlessly carry out the current best practices in medicine. After gaining this knowledge

and experience, I would like to come back to put all the knowledge I have learnt into practice and help uplift the healthcare system like many other doctors have done.

MY EDUCATION TIMELINE

I did my schooling in Our Own English High School Fujairah and passed out in 2009 with excellent marks. Thereafter, I completed my medical studies along with internship in one of the most reputed institutions in South India (M.O.S.C MEDICAL COLLEGE KOLENCHERY,KERALA) in 2016 and maintained good academic record. I took my IELTS exam in March 2017 which is an English proficiency exam required for the eligibility of PLAB Examination.I have attached evidence of my school certificates, medical registration certificate and IELTS Test certificate.

MY FAMILY MEMBERS AND THEIR DETAILS

My father, Dr. K.C Cheriyan, is the director of TILE AND BATH SOLUTIONS, which is an establishment in FREEZONE,SHARJAH,UAE. My mother is a housewife. My sister, Sruthi Ann Cheriyan has completed BBA from Manipal University,Dubai and is currently pursuing ACCA from the Phoenix Institute,World Trade Centre,Dubai.

I have always maintained a very good immigration history. I have never disobeyed any rules or regulations and never had any bad experience while travelling abroad. I would like to reassure you that I am going to leave UK after the end of my visit as I am a resident of United Arab Emirates. I want to come back and stay with my family. My father has also invested under my name and documentary evidence of the same has been attached.

My father is my financial sponsor. He has always been responsible for my finances since my childhood. He paid my tuition fees throughout medical school and also supports me financially when needed. He encourages my dream of being a physician and my ambition of getting registered with the General Medical Council. He has therefore offered to pay all expenses necessary during this trip for my PLAB 1 examination. I have attached my father’s sponsorship letter.

I have booked my PLAB PART 1 Examination and already got a date to sit for my exam. It is conducted by the General Medial Council(GMC),UK, I have my own GMC reference number. I have attached evidence of this. I have also attached my booking confirmation for PLAB PART 1 test issued by the General Medical Council,UK. I have given my travel plan in detail. I am looking forward to stay in UK for a duration of 1 for the test and I will depart as soon as my test is over.
