    DOSE: 1 CAP/ BID

    HEPATICPROTECTORS

    Promotes theexcretion of bile from

    the system helpsprotect the liver by

    aiding in removing oftoxins from the blood

    stream from thekidneys to the urine.

    INDICATION:- acute and chronic

    hepatitis.- cirrhosis

    - drug induced hepatitis.- Fatty liver.

    CONTRAINDICATION:Do not use for people

    with hypersensitivity to

    the drug.

    - Galactosemia- Bowel Obstruction

    - Nurse shall instructclient to take with

    food to avoid GIirritation.

    - Nurse shall monitorclient vital sign.

    - Nurse shall teachclient sign and

    symptoms of adverse

    effects.

    - Nurse shall monitorfor signs ofGalactosemia and

    bowel obstruction.

    ENTECAVIR

    ( BARACLUDE) 0.5

    mg / 1 tab/ once daily

    Antiviral Drug Functionally inhibits

    all three activities of

    HBV polymerase,upon activation by

    kinase. The drug canbe incorporated into

    the DNA which hasthe effect of

    inhibiting HBV

    polymerase activity.

    INDICATION:

    -For the treatment of

    chronic HEP B VIRUSinfection in adults w/

    evidence of active viralreplication or evidence

    of persistent rise ALT orAST or histologically

    active disease.

    CONTRAINDICATION:hypersensitivity to the

    drug.

    Exacerbation of

    Hepatitis after

    discontinuation.Lactic Acidosis

    SevereHepatomegaly with

    SteatosisGI upset

    Diarrhea

    FatigueDizziness

    Nurse Shall monitor

    signs of adverse

    reaction afterdiscontinuation

    client to hydrate andincrease fluid intake

    to prevent renalcalculi.-Nurse shall advice

    client to limit andprevent sun exposure

    while on medicationtherapy because it can

    cause severe burns.

    complete full courseof therapy and not

    stop medication
