Coffee With Pastor Tim 1 Peter 3:3-4 ESV Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the im-perishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious. These days when viewing television, movies, and magazines we are over-whelmed with pictures and articles about having the perfect body, the perfect clothes and accessories as to make us the most beautiful people that the world dictates. Today's text from 1 Peter 3:3-4 speaks about the beauty that God sees in us and has created in us, rather than how the world views what is beautiful. Many people today believe that their outward appearance must be based on what the world claims as fashionable and stylish. Beloved, my prayer for you this week is that you know that God loves you and created you beautifully and without blemish. So, go out this week in confidence and in the knowledge that God has given you a beauty and a spirit that is precious in His sight. This is the day that the Lord has made. Pastor Tim
