By sustainability DSM means “meeting the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs".
DSM believes that achieving sustainability is creating value by simultaneously pursuing economic performance, ecological and social benefits.

The available DSM feed enzymetechnology for layer feed has the potential
to save the equivalent to 1.2 millionhectares or 2.6 million soccer fields of
wheat
