A properly designed ducted reverse cycle system will generally incorporate a number of zones.A basic zone system is designed to allow the air conditioning to be switched off in areas of the home which are not being used at any particular time. Because the whole of the home is not being air conditioned at one time, the size and capacity of the air conditioning unit can be reduced and consequently running costs are reduced.

FLEXIBLE DUCT When selecting duct ensure you choose the correct thermal rating for your application and that the construction will provide for smooth quiet airflow and a long trouble free life.

Polyaire duct is manufactured using a Mylar inner core encasing wound spring steel which maintains the integrity of the duct.

The smooth internal surface minimizes noise levels and maximises your systems performance by ensuring smooth unrestricted air flow. The insulation used in Polyaire ducts is specially developed polyester which contains no harmful glass fibres, and more importantly will not support bacterial or fungal growth.

Polyaire duct is available in a range of specifications and is manufactured to suit different applications. Your local Polyaire branch staff or installation contractor will be able to assist you with the selection of what rating is the most appropriate for your needs.

POLYAIRE SEAMLESS DRIP TRAY The Air Conditioning unit in the roof produces condensed water that needs to be piped away, and if this pipe gets blocked, overflowing water can badly damage your roof, electrics etc. All ducted systems need a drip tray fitted underneath the (indoor unit) in the roof to guard against this.

Most drip trays are made of soldered flat sheet metal and can deteriorate over time, or the joints can get cracked during installation causing leaks in the future. Polyaire’s Seamless drip trays are made from one piece of steel so there are no seams to crack or rust and very little chance of a leak in the future

CONVENTIONAL ALUMINIUM GRILLE & FILTER Polyaire use a strong durable aluminium powder coated grille with easy slide out filters for quick convenient cleaning and replacement when necessary.

RAG-X RETURN AIR GRILLE The RAG- X from Polyaire is a complete return air assembly manufactured from high strength plastic designed to provide a unit which is more efficient for installation, operation and maintenance which incorporates an aesthetic design to compliment most decors.

Diffusers and Outlets Polyaire has a wide range of outlets and diffusers that can be used on a reverse cycle system.

Polyaire Round Diffusers - For every Application The three models in the Polyaire round diffuser range make it possible to accomplish all your airflow needs with round designs. Round diffusers are easier to fit than square models (no aligning straight edges with walls), and can fit with any décor.

BRANCH TAKE OFFS Polyaire branch take offs are manufactured from a high grade moulded engineering plastic UV stabilised.

The outer surface is coated with a closed cell urethane foam insulation to provide optimum thermal qualities.

They are suitable for all ducted installations and won’t warp or deteriorate over time.

QUICK FIX DAMPERSPolyaire Quick Fix Dampers provide the ability to fine tune the air flow in a system and control zones where installed.

Manufactured from a high grade engineering plastic, they are both robust and durable.

They are fully insulated to provide excellent thermal properties, and employ a unique reverse taper design to prevent air leakage or duct detachment.

Both fittings are fully insulated and designed to take both manual and motorised dampers enabling fine tuning of your system to provide optimum conditions throughout your home.

The fittings employ the Polyaire specially designed Zip Tie connector system which virtually eliminates duct join leakage and duct dislodgement.

THE CIRCULAR HERITAGE OUTLET is a more decorative design that employs a unique three stage regulation from closed through partially open to full open so that airflow needs can be tailored for a wide variety of applications.

THE ROUND CEILING DIFFUSER is used to spread air out around the room without creating obvious draught patterns. It is incrementally adjustable for airflow from fully closed.

ROUNDJET is designed to throw air downward in a column and is very useful for high ceilings and stairwells where it is necessary to push air a long way.
