SkyAir Four-Way Ceiling-Mounted Cassette

Ceiling-Suspended Unit

The SkyAir SystemEnergy Efficient, Space Saving

With its elegant style and seamless technology, the innovative SkyAir system is designed toquietly blend into the ambience of shops, restaurants, small offices or home environments.Offering substantial energy savings with 13 SEER and operating efficiencies over conventional air conditioning systems, this single-phase, R-410A inverter system deliversAbsolute Comfort in:

n The flexibility to customize simple, easy-to-install, duct-free air conditioning solutions that are space saving to meet your design requirements.

n Revolutionary technology for precise temperature control that constantly readjusts itself to the environment and changing occupancy.

n The reliability and support of a single supplier, offering one of the finest warranties in the business.

n Our commitment to the environment using a non-ozone-depleting potential refrigerant R-410A, also optimizing energy conservation. The Ozone Depletion Potential (O.D.P.) of zero for R-410A is lower than the O.D.P. of 0.05 for R-22.

Noise-Reducing Air Inlet Bell Mouth & Aero Spiral Fan. Bell mouth guides and

bent-edge fan blades also reduce turbulence.

Fan Motor. Designed to improve efficiency compared

to conventional AC motors, especially during

low-speed rotation.

Super Aero Grille. Spiral-shaped ribs align

with direction of discharge flow to minimize

turbulence and reduce noise.

Reluctance Brushless DC Compressor.

Significantly increases efficiency over AC inverter

motors by using both normal and reluctance

torque to produce extra power from small

electric currents.

e-Bridge Circuit. Increases evaporative

capacity by adding super cooling prior to

expansion cycle. This prevents accumulation

of refrigerant in the condenser for greater

energy efficiency.

i-Demand Function. With Power Consumption

Management, you limit the peak operation of the system to

accommodate the building's energy supply.

e-Pass Heat Exchanger. Improved heat transfer is achieved by optimizing the path

layout of the heat exchanger, resulting in greater exchanger efficiency.

Daikin develops and optimizes every component within our unique system, making sure each element works flawlessly with the

next. Optimal performance is delivered from the time a project begins to the moment of experiencing Absolute Comfort. We

use the most up-to-date technology to build products that not only elevate the level of high performance but are equipped

with advanced built-in intelligence and flexibility.

What is it?

The inverter technology can be compared to the technology in a car, “The harder you push the accelerator, the faster you go.”

An inverter unit will gradually increase the compressor speed based on the capacity needed to cool down or heat up the room.

A system without inverter technology can be compared to turning on or off a lamp. Turning on this type of unit will start to

run on full load.

www.daikinac.com

Advantages of the inverter technologyn Reach the comfort temperature setting you want faster n Start-up time is reduced by 1/3 (compared to normal on/off units)n Avoids cycling operation of the compressor, thus reducing costly current (amp) peaks n Minimized temperature fluctuationsn The energy consumption is reduced by 1/3 (compared to normal on/off units)

Intelligent installation

In new construction or renovation projects, the versatility of the quiet, duct-free SkyAir system makes it ideal

wherever space is a challenge. The system pairs the compact outdoor heat pump with a choice of slim, elegant

indoor units. And installation is a breeze.

All units are nearly 80% complete at delivery. With Daikin’s flexible piping and wiring design, the entire process

is simplified, needing only a few connections. Installation, commissioning and service problems are virtually

eliminated, and the built-in self-diagnostics system quickly and accurately identifies an issue should it arise.

Versatile and easy to install

Maximum piping length: 230 ft.Maximum height difference: 164 ft.
