Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. Listed below are noteworthy road works, which

the Traffic and Road Safety Section has been informed of. Details are supplied as per

information received by 16:00 hrs on the preceding Thursday. Emergency road works

cannot be forecast.

» New Entry Estimate of Potential Disruption:

» Dundrum Road (beside Churchfield Estate) ***

Construction work will be undertaken from Monday, 5th October 2015 to Monday, 19th October 2015 to connect new residential units to the existing public utilities on the footpath, (foul and watermains) and roadway (drainage connection). A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

» Corbawn Lane and Shanganagh Road (part of) ***

From Monday, 5th October 2015 road and footpath restoration works on Corbawn Lane will be progressed to the lower section with lane closures from its junction with Dorney Court (Roundabout) to the Shankill Dart Bridge. Local Access will be maintained by the provision of a manual controlled stop and go shuttle system. The duration of works is expected to last for three weeks. Works will be undertaken between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs. (Monday to Friday). Traffic Lights at the Junction of Beechfield Manor will revert to normal sequencing from 15:00 hrs. on Friday, 2nd October 2015.

» N11 - Resurfacing Road works (Night works) ***

The N11 Southbound will be closed between Junction 5 and 7 on Sunday 4th, Monday 5th, Tuesday 6th and Wednesday, 7th October 2015 between 22:00 and 06:00 hrs. Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the closures.

» Kilmacud Road Lower ***

(between junction of Kilmacud Road Upper and Allen Park)

Footpath reconstruction works will commence on Monday, 5th October 2015 until Friday 23rd October 2015 between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs. Footpath on north side will be inaccessible during the works and all pedestrians will be diverted through the pedestrian crossings at both junctions. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

» Stillorgan Grove, Stillorgan **

Concrete and bituminous footpath works will commence on Monday, 5th October 2015 until Friday, 16th October 2015 between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

» Taney Avenue, Dundrum *

Footpath reconstruction works will commence on Monday, 5th October 2015 until Friday, 16th October 2015 between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

» Kill Avenue, Deansgrange * (Night works)

KN Networks will carry out essential works to fibre infrastructure on Kill Avenue, Deansgrange on Tuesday, 6th October and Wednesday, 7th October 2015 between 19:00 and 23:00 hrs. both nights.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

# Leopardstown Road – R113 *** Leopardstown Link Road and Roundabout Reconfiguration Scheme Leopardstown Link Road OPENED to traffic on Wednesday, 22nd July 2015, providing a new access to South County Business Park, Leopardstown Race Course and Leopardstown Park Hospital. Works now progressing on Brewery Road, the Roundabout and Burton Hall Road as part of the signalisation of the roundabout. Burton Hall Road down to 1 lane either direction from Monday, 14th September 2015 for approximately 5 weeks. Works to commence on Southern side of Burton Hall Road. The configuration of the roundabout is adjusted locally to enable service installations. Drivers are requested to proceed with caution through the roundabout. Pedestrian crossing position adjusted on Brewery Road – Signage in Place.

Localised Traffic Management will be in place, inclusive of lane closures and Stop / Go as required.

# Stillorgan Road – R138 – UCD to Johnstown Road Junction (Night works) ***

Bus lane lining, bus logos and bus stop markings will commence on Monday, 28th September 2015 until Friday, 9th October 2015 between 23:00 and 06:00 hrs. (weather dependent). A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

# Dodder Road Lower ***

Dodder River wall repair works will continue until Friday, 30th October 2015 between 07:30 and 18:00 hrs. The road will be reduced to single lane and managed by temporary traffic lights. The western footpath will be closed; pedestrians can cross to the eastern path at signed designated crossing points. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.

# Public Lighting Lantern and Bracket Upgrade Works **

Public lighting lantern and bracket upgrade works will take place on:

1. Ballinteer Avenue 2. Dublin Road 3. Shanganagh Road 4. Killiney Hill Road 5. Crofton Road

These works will continue until 30th October 2015.

A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation as required.

# Fairyhill, Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock *

Footpath reconstruction works will continue until Friday, 9th October 2015 between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

# Thornhill Road, Mount Merrion *

Jointing and over banding works will continue until Friday, 16th October 2015 between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Ballinteer Road, Ballinteer **

The Ballinteer Road Traffic Safety Improvement scheme began on site on Monday, 24th August 2015 and will last approximately three months. Works will take place on Ballinteer Road between the Sandyford Green Route and the junction of Ballinteer Road/Ballinteer Avenue. Stop / Go Traffic Management will be in place at junction with College Park intermittently between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.

N11 - Public Lighting Upgrade Works **

Public lighting upgrade works will continue until Friday, 30th October 2015 on N11 outbound lane between Fosters Avenue Junction and Mount Merrion Junction between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. and between 19:30 and 23:30 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Irish Water *

Irish Water meter installation works will continue next week.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
