RHP Jusn Dillon started for the D-Jays and was tossing a perfect game unl Jason Lopez broke it up with a double off the leſt field wall in the boom of the sixth. Two baers later, Max Burt drove in Lopez with a single through the drawn in infield to give the Tarpons the lead. Tampa added one more run in the inning on Oswaldo Cabrera’s RBI hit to extend the Tampa lead to 2-0. Dunedin struck back with a run in the seventh when Samad Taylor scored from third on a wild pitch. Tampa scratched across an insurance run in boom of the inning to make it 3-1. RHP Hobie Harris was looking to shut the door for the Tarpons in the ninth but the Blue Jays managed an eight baer rally and scored four runs, highlighted by the bases loaded double off the bat of Alejandro Kirk to take the 5-3 lead. Despite runners reaching second and third in the boom of the ninth, RHP William Ouellee struck out Jason Lopez swinging to end the game and send Dunedin to their sixth come from behind win of the year. TONIGHT’S MATCHUP: Dunedin and Tampa are set to play game two of their three game series and the second of 16 matchups.
