During the 18th century, women often carried fans as

accessories. This fan, with cut-out eyes, allowed the

wearer to peek through the fan without showing her

face.

Design your own “peekaboo” fans. Take this project even

further by making an actual fan! Research how to make a

fan, incorporate your designs and make sure it is life size!

These will be collected by your Art teacher at the begin-

ning of the term. Prizes will be awarded!!!
