DescriptionThe improvement of intermediate level medical services in the state of Gujarat. The project provided assistance for: (1) Maternity & Child Health; (2) Traumatology; (3) Nephrology and Virology. Among others it encompassed equipping 65 health institutes (36 community health centres; 23 district hospitals; 6 referral centres and 6 Mobile Ophtalmology units).

Description120 bed District Hospital with trauma and emergency care, approximately 20.000 treatments annually. Hospital with an energy efficient design, up to 50% savings in energy resources. Training around 200 people, varying from nurse to hospital management.
