Some dwarfs can grow to 5 feet, but the average size is 4 feet. Most cases of dwarfism happen genetically. •There are two types of dwarfism, disproportionate, and proportionate dwarfism. Disproportionate dwarfism is when the you have a average sized torso, but a shorter arm, and leg.

What causes Dwarfism?

•Dwarfism can be caused by more than 200 conditions. The cause of proportionate dwarfism is metabolic, and hormonal disorders such as growth hormone deficiency. The most common type of dwarfism is skeletal dysplasias, which are genetic problems.

How does Dwarfism affect people who have it?

Dwarfism affects people in lots of different ways.For example:  They have to have different kinds of cars and can’t reach high

places. People look at them and maybe even bully them because of

their height. They need lots of help and also it is really hard to be

independent. They aren’t that flexible.
