  • its first polymer blending system in

1985. Since then our company’s entire focus has been on the development

and application of polymer blending technology.

highest performing technology available, Fluid Dynamics has established

itself as the premier polymer equipment company.

    ourHistory

    Simply metering a stream of

polymer into a bowl of water

    produces polymer agglomerations.

Dispersing the polymer prior to coming in

    contact with water assures effective

    polymer-particle wetting. Effectively

    wetting each polymer particle prevents

    polymer agglomerations from occurring

and reduces hydration time and mix time

    resulting in higher polymer performance.

While some polymers may require less aging time, the

system should be designed for at least 45 to 60

minutes of aging to account for the wide range of

    polymers available.

The typical solution concentration range is from

0.25% to 0.5%. Lower concentrations increase tank

capacity and system cost with no benefit. Higher

concentrations require increased aging time and mix

time and will likely reduce polymer performance.

Proper mixing requires that the entire tank be in a

turbulent state (with no dead zones), mixing with an

effective low speed mixer and mixing for the proper

amount of time. The mixing time depends on how

effectively the polymer is wetted and the polymers being

used. Typical mix times range from 15 to 45 minuteswhen mixing polymer that has been effectively wetted.

  • Wetting dry polymer and activating

liquid polymer are two totally different

    processes, each requiring a technology

specifically designed to meet the criteria

of the polymer being used. Blending

liquid polymer through a dry polymer

wetting system fails to meet the liquid

    polymer’s requirement of staged

    blending. To assure optimum

    performance from liquid polymers, Fluid

    Dynamics has incorporated the

    dynaBLEND TM liquid polymer activation

technology into its dry polymer systems.

    Inside the dynaJET TMTechnology.

    dynaJETTM Technology

    The dynaJETTM technology utilizes a

    blower-induced pneumatic conveyance

system to convey up to 12#/minute of

polymer from the volumetric feeder to

the wetting head. (higher capacity custom

    systems available)

    The polymer is naturally dispersed

(atomized) in the conveyance air prior to

being introduced to the dilution water for

    optimum polymer-particle wetting.

The polymer and water come together

in a high flow shower of water produced

by a minimum of six specially designed water

    jets to ensure complete polymer-particle

wetting. The resulting solution then enters

the mix tank where the polymer solution

is ready for the mix / age process.

Assures thorough wetting of polymer for optimum performance, clean operation and increased reliability.

Increased reliability and disperses polymer toassure effective polymer-particle wetting.

Prevents polymer build-up at volumetric feeder, prevents plugging of polymer conveyance system.

Choice of polymer storage and handling systems tomeet your plants specific needs.

Safer for the operator when loading polymer. Cleaner operation with less chance for polymer spills.

Flexibility to choose the control features that best meet the needs of your plant without the increased cost of customization.
