Football Festival
On Thursday this week, Perranporth sent a mixed football
team off to the Macron Football Festival at Treviglas Acade-
my. All of the Newquay schools were there to compete, with
15 teams being entered. The standard of play was very high
with fast and furious short games being played. Perranporth
gave fantastic performances throughout their matches and
managed to go into their final game without losing a single
game. Unfortunately Newquay Junior A team were a little too
strong for us in the last match, but the team were able to fin-
ish holding their heads high having given an excellent per-
formance! It was a fantastic day of football with everyone
enjoying their day. An enormous well done to the team!
