    Parameters to be followed for submission of applications under FamilyCounselling Centre and Rajiv Gandhi National Creche Scheme

    The Central Social Welfare Board will be opening e-AWEDAN (electronic Application

    for Women Empowerment & Development Action by NGOs) from 23 rdNovember to

    9thDecember, 2013. The voluntary organizations willing and eligible for submission

    of applications for the year 2013-14 under Family Counselling Centre for uncovered

    area/covered area and Rajiv Gandhi National Creche Scheme programmes for

    opening of Creches in lieu of closed one may submit their applications through e-

    AWEDAN. Hard copy alongwith complete documents as per norms of the scheme

    may immediately be submitted to the respective State Boards. Each application will

    be evaluated by the respective State Board based on following criteria before

    recommending it to Central Social Welfare Board.

    Family Counselling Centre Programme

    Preference will be given for uncovered area.

    Rajiv Gandhi National Creche Scheme

    Physical allocation under the programme is for 16075 Creches against which 15454are functional Creches. Hence, 621 Creche units will be the maximum no. of centresto be set up in lieu of closed cases.

    Applications of the voluntary organizations will be considered only for openingCreches in lieu of closed units.

    Under no circumstances more than 5 units will considered for sanction ofgrant in lieu of closed units.

    Financial position of the voluntary organization should be sound.

    The voluntary organization should have adequate experience in therespective field.

    The voluntary organization should have adequate infrastructure for smoothimplementation of the programme.

    The voluntary organization may mention any meritorious work done in thefield of social work.
