The two day workshop program was scheduled within the institute premises along with presence of all the faculty members of Computer Department. The aim of work-shop was to provide knowledge and understanding of current trend in technology. Number of participants: 45

Workshop on “ Object Oriented Programming with JAVA”

On 4th & 5th of February 2020, Com-puter Engineering Department has organized workshop on “Object Oriented Programming with JAVA” for 4th semester students. The two day workshop program was scheduled within the institute prem-ises along with presence of all the faculty members of Computer De-partment. The aim of workshop was to provide knowledge and understanding of cur-rent trend in technology and also encourage them to take more inter-est to enhance their skills. Number of participants: 50

Online lecture series on “ C Programming”

On 8th & 9thof April 2020, Computer Engi-neering Department has organized Online Lecture series on “C Programming” for 2ndsemester students. The two day online lecture series was scheduled on Zoom online meeting portal due to 21 days Lockdown along with presence of Direc-tor, MSCET and faculty members of Com-puter Department. The aim of Online Lecture series was to provide knowledge and understanding of C Programming Im-portance in Computer Engineering field. No of Students Participated: 41 students.

Seminar on “Oriented Cyber Security”

Computer Engineering department has organized a seminar on “Oriented Cyber Security” on 10/02/2020 at 11:00 A.M. Mr. Abhash Singh (FUAI Technologies, Vapi) has delivered a ses-sion. 4th and 6th semesters of Computer Engineering attended the seminar. Stu-dents got a thorough knowledge and ideas about Cyber Security. We are also thankful to Mr. Himesh Gohil (Asst. Prof. Mechanical Depart-ment) for giving reference of FUAI Technologies. No of Students Participated: 51 stu-dents.

Industrial Visit to Networking Unit of IIHT, Surat

Computer Department of MSCET has organized a one-day Industrial visit to Networking Unit of IIHT, Surat on 11 February, 2020 for 2nd year students of Department of computer engineering. Visit was organized with the prior permission of higher authorities. Industrial visit was organized by Asst. Prof. Alpa Valand (HOD, CE Department) & Asst Prof. Pranav Rangwala and supported by all fac-ulties of Computer Department. Total 41 Computer Engineering students along with 4 staff visited the cen-tre. The one-day visit was organized with prior permission of IIHT, Surat and confirmed on 11 February, 2020. The students got benefited in terms of the technical details provided on networking.
