Sefer Vayikra Selichos Member News AUGUST EVENTS AUGUST BULLETIN Exciting News from Ner Tamid Youth Department: All groups will be back in session Starting September 1st! Although we’ve been virtually connected, celebrating holidays socially distanced, and even getting together outdoors for Shabbos groups, we are excited to announce that September 1st our all new NTYouthGroups will be up and running, indoors, back and better than ever. What’s the Same? Great Shabbos Programming: Members and guests will have a place where they can drop off their kids knowing they will be getting age appropriate, engaging, and creative Shabbos programming. Davening, parsha, parsha snacks, games and activities and time to play and socialize with other Ner Tamid Kids. What’s New? Early Drop Off: You asked and we heard you! Beginning at 9:00 am, when shul begins, kids from 2-10 will be able to have free play in one room and/or the playground. At 9:30, children will be met at Early Drop Off by their groups leaders and will be escorted to their classroom. Teen Leaders: Ner Tamid Youth has some amazing teen helpers who will be participating in leadership development training to be the best group leaders possible for your kids.These teams of teens will be directly overseen and mentored by Morah Rachel, Youth Director. Morah Rachel will be in and out of each room to reconnect to the kids and offer support and help as needed. New Toys and Games: It’s been a long time since we gathered and played together indoors. We have a list of new toys that we would love to have for our new and improved groups. If you are excited about groups starting again, and you’d like to make a donation, follow this link to purchase some of these toys for our youth groups! We’d love to open up with fully stocked classrooms for your kids to enjoy. A very dear friend, whom I have traveled with to many islands in Greece, is currently staying with her dad on one the islands that make up the Lonnian

Islands Region. She was kind enough to send me photographs of some the Judaicathat are currently on display in their archeological museum.

The Jewish Community is one of the oldest. Next month, I will share with you the Torah Mantle, which Rabbi Motzen translated.
