HISTORICAL

We know if a TRU divide into 8 channel that each of channel need 16 kbps

So in one TRU need : 8 x 16 kbps = 128 kbps

We know 1 TS in E1 = 64 kbps 128 kbps : 64 kbps = 2 , that equal with 2 TS ( Time Slot )

So if we have radio configuration of cell 4/4/4 with total of TRU are 12 TRU,the calculation TS ( Time Slot ) is :

12 x 2 = 24 TS ( Time Slot )

Usually for Transmission Planning Round Up to 1 E1, Because 1 E1

consist of 32 TS ( Time Slot )
