using a minimum of 2 sources (1 Book and 1 Internet) Outline Rough Draft (Including Works Cited and Title

Page) A Final Draft Essay, typed in 12 pt. font, Times

New Roman, Double Spaced (Including Works Cited and Title Page)

A Visual Aid (Poster or Timeline) to use during presentation

Outline

The purpose of the outline is to arrange the information so that the actual Essay is easier to write.

Topics to Cover Introduction paragraph will include

o Struggles/Problems:o What did this person struggle with? Learning problems,

Conclusion paragraph will include: o (Restated Topic Sentence)

o Your personal opinion of the person.

Essay Requirements 5 paragraph Informative/Explanatory Essay

(Introduction, 3 body paragraphs, Conclusion)

Rough Draft-At least 3 hand-written pages in length

Each date must have a relevant picture

Speech (Note) Cards

Students are required to write and use speech (note) cards during your presentations.

This should be information about your person and visual aid.

Presentations Presentations will be about 3 minutes in

length. The visual aid and the speech (note)

cards are the only things that will be available you during presentations.
