Thank you for your interest in the Eagan Community Center. The moment you walk in, you’ll notice that this is an extraordinary community center. The distinct architectural design and spectacular views of Central Park will take your breath away. Accented by stone, oak and a grand fireplace, the atmosphere is elegant relaxation. Designed with you in mind, the Eagan Community Center offers beauty, fun and something for everyone. Whether you want to take a yoga class, read a book by the fireplace or plan your wedding – the Eagan Community Center has what you need. Be sure to enjoy the intergalactic thrill of The Blast indoor playground or visit the fitness center and gymnasiums to put some fun into your workout. The versatile meeting and banquet rooms can host your next event and the outdoor recreation areas provide space to play, celebrate or just enjoy a leisurely stroll. Daily activities and special events in the Lone Oak senior center and classes, games and entertainment in The Oasis teen center provide opportunities for all ages. When you need to refuel, stop by the Cyber Cafe for a snack and a latté. You can visit our website for a virtual tour and information or stop in for a personal look at the facility. The welcoming atrium is where you will find friendly staff waiting to answer your questions and walk you through the variety of services offered at the Eagan Community Center. Central ParkPaths, Playgrounds & FunThe Eagan Community Center is located in the heart of 60-acre Central Park and is joined by several other amenities. Central Park is an ideal setting for family photographs, taking a walk, enjoying a picnic – and so much more.

Playground: An outdoor playground is conveniently located near the band shell and festival grounds to provide a play space for kids close to all the activity.

Fitness Zone: Put a little variety in your daily walk by using the outdoor fitness equipment. Test yourself on the pull-up bar, strengthen your arms with the chest press, or hop on the elliptical.

Park Pavilion: Ideal for a company picnic, family reunion, or graduation party, the Central Park pavilion comes complete with a small kitchen, electrical outlets, running water and a separate parking area. The pavilion can accommodate groups up to 150.

Band Shell: The Eagan Rotary Band Shell offers informal seating and is the perfect place for theatrical and musical events, worship services, wedding ceremonies and even outdoor business meetings.

Gazebo: Wedding ceremonies, family gatherings or even birthday parties would all find comfort in the gazebo. With a spectacular view of the pond and Central Park, the gazebo provides a beautiful backdrop for family portraits or graduation pictures.

Walking Trails: With over two miles of winding trails located in Central Park, you can get your workout in and enjoy the natural surroundings.

Community EventsInside and out, the Eagan Community Center is home to a number of large community events. Central Park is a busy place in the summer with events such as the Eagan Arts Festival, the 4th of July Fun Fest Carnival and Market Fest – a wonderful blend of farmers, artisans and entertainers. Live performances occur at the Eagan Rotary Band Shell during the warmer months, and throughout the year inside at The Oasis teen center. The community center also hosts many indoor events, such as community garage sales, basketball tournaments and annual fund-raising galas.

Fitness CenterJoin a community of people collectively striving for optimal health and fitness with a membership at the Eagan Community Center. While working out, you will notice the beautiful views of Central Park which provide a unique visual experience as the seasons change. The fitness center has the best equipment the industry has to offer with over 35 cardiovascular pieces and a wide variety of selectorized, free weight, and functional strength equipment.

Your success is our success, which is why the focus is to provide outstanding service to members. Our fitness center is exceptionally clean and has a non-intimidating atmosphere with knowledgeable and friendly staff who are eager to help you. Many opportunities are available for members to learn more about healthy choices which translates into a higher quality of life. Through educational seminars, fitness programs, and special events, our priority is helping members to achieve their goals.

Best of all, memberships are very affordable with a month-to-month agreement. We also work with many HMO’s that provide discounts and incentives to reduce monthly payments.

Group FitnessBeing active with others under the leadership of certified fitness instructors is certain to keep you motivated with a variety of classes offered each week. Classes are designed to welcome participants of all ability levels and to ensure a safe rewarding workout.

Personal Training & Nutrition CoachingAre you new to exercise? Do you have specific goals in mind? Are you recovering from an injury? Would you like to lose some weight? Do you need to change up your routine? Would you like some nutrition guidance to complement your activity? Certified staff will take the time to get to know you and your health history and then work with you to develop a personalized plan. This plan will be the pathway to lead you to the results you want with a safe and progressive approach.

Fitness on the RoadPromoting the benefits of exercise throughout the entire Eagan community is our goal. If it is more convenient for one of our personal trainers to meet you at your home or work, we will meet you there. If you would like a fitness instructor to teach a class at your work-site or for a community group, we would be excited to work with you. If you have a health or fitness need, we would love the opportunity to partner with you.

Gymnasiums & Indoor TrackThe community center has three gymnasiums that offer opportunities for drop-in activities including: basketball, volleyball, preschool play time and more. The gyms are also available to rent for group outings and/or special events. A cushioned indoor track is also available for those who want to walk/jog on any given day or with a seven-day or monthly pass.

Seating is available for up to 350 people and, with the inclusion of a pre-function entertainment space and a large outdoor patio area, your guests will enjoy the open feel of the Eagan Community Center.

The Oaks is a beautifully appointed banquet room that can be used as one grand space, ideal for keynote speakers or employee luncheons - or three smaller spaces, still seating over 100 people each, to fit the needs of your group. We offer a private board room for groups up to 40, as well as smaller, intimate meeting rooms that are perfect for groups up to 25 and can function as breakout rooms for larger meetings.

You will find over 18,000 square feet of gym space, available for your next practice, game, field trip or trade show. The BlastIndoor PlaygroundThe Blast indoor playground features loads of play opportunities and interstellar delights. Kids can let their imaginations run wild on this unique, two-story playground searching for UFO’s, discovering planets, exploring the time travel bridges and climbing over the moon’s surface.

The Blast is painted like a gigantic galaxy, adding to this one-of-a-kind play odyssey. Kids can burn energy and get exercise while pretending to be astronauts on their very own international space station. Children will want to explore The Blast with lightning speed!

Stay a few hours or come for the day. The Blast offers a daily admission rate or guests can choose to purchase a resident or non-resident punch card for a discounted rate.

Birthday PartiesThe Blast offers the best birthday party deal in town. With stress-free, mess-free party packages, kids and their parents can relax and enjoy the day. A pre-packaged birthday party with all of the trimmings for up to ten children includes:

The Blast is the ideal stop for your next field trip, reward day, party or group celebration. Reduced admission is offered for groups of ten or more with advanced reservations. The indoor playground will keep your astronauts cool in the summer months and warm when the weather turns cold. The indoor climbing structure provides hours of adventure and fun without the hassle of the elements.

Groups can also add on bonus gym time, as well as a hot dog lunch package with use of an indoor party room, or reserve space to eat a bagged lunch.

Overnight PartiesBasketball, games, dance floor and more! The Eagan Community Center is the perfect place for a class party, scout trip, church youth retreat, reward day or just plain fun!

The Oasis Teen CenterC’mon, get out of the house! Head down to The Oasis and check out the action! Try out the video games on four different gaming systems. Play pool or board games, work on an art project, watch movies or just hang out listening to your favorite tunes. The Oasis is open after school so you’ll have time to hang with your friends and even make new ones. Teens grades six and above are welcome. A photo ID is required to enter.

The Oasis has regular weekly drop-in times, as well as holiday schedules/classes and special events.

The Oasis is also available for private rentals and birthday party packages. It comes equipped with a pool table, video games and lots of comfy seating. The Oasis is great for adult birthday parties and graduation parties.

The Lone Oak RoomPrograms offered in the Lone Oak Room include a variety of activities and health and wellness programs aimed at keeping adults, 55 plus, active, challenged and independent. Whether you are seeking mind stimulating activities, new friendships through the many social exchanges or classes to improve and maintain strength, balance and energy, there is something for everyone.

The Lone Oak Room is also available for private rentals. At 1,400 square feet, there is enough room to seat 100 people and the in-room fireplace adds warmth to any party atmosphere. Baby and bridal showers, graduation parties and small wedding receptions have all utilized the beauty and character of the Lone Oak Room to host their events.
