EAGLE NEWS January 22, 2021 NOTES FROM THE PRINCIPAL Week #1 of our Hybrid Schedule was highly successful. Our students are doing a fantastic job adapting to the "new" school structure by wearing their masks in the school, socially distancing, and following our 1-way traffic pattern in the halls. As we continue to move forward, we ask that parents continue to be cognizant of their child's exposure levels and whereabouts. We are still fighting the effects of this virus and want to continue to be a part of the solution in controlling the spread. Please remember to keep your children home if they experience ANY symptoms (fever, cough, nasal congestions, sore throat, shortness of breath, diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, fatigue, headache, myalgia, or a new loss of taste or smell). If a student tests positive, please make the school aware. We have our contract tracing protocols to limit the internal spread of COVID to other staff, students, and school programs. It is essential to be open and honest with the contract tracer if a positive student potentially exposed others to the virus to inform people for their safety adequately. As always, thank you for all that you do. Thursday, January 28, ends the last day of the 2nd Marking Period. Please keep up to date with your child's grades by checking Power Parent. Stay warm, safe, healthy, and have a great weekend. GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT NEWS &NOTES ALL STUDENTS: The second quarter ends in two short weeks! Students are encouraged to get any missed assignments turned in, study for quarterly assessments, and communicate directly with teachers if they are having any concerns. SENIORS Families who have not yet submitted their FAFSA should do so asap as funds are distributed on a first-come, first- served basis. Many financial aid resources and FAFSA tips can be found in the Google Classroom for Seniors and in the College & Career Planning Toolkit under the Guidance tab on the high school homepage.

    NOTES FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Week #1 of our Hybrid Schedule was highly successful. Our students are doing a fantastic job adapting to the "new"

school structure by wearing their masks in the school, socially distancing, and following our 1-way traffic pattern in the

halls. As we continue to move forward, we ask that parents continue to be cognizant of their child's exposure levels and

whereabouts. We are still fighting the effects of this virus and want to continue to be a part of the solution in controlling

    the spread.

Please remember to keep your children home if they experience ANY symptoms (fever, cough, nasal congestions, sore

throat, shortness of breath, diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, fatigue, headache, myalgia, or a new loss of taste or smell). If a

student tests positive, please make the school aware. We have our contract tracing protocols to limit the internal

spread of COVID to other staff, students, and school programs. It is essential to be open and honest with the contract

tracer if a positive student potentially exposed others to the virus to inform people for their safety adequately.

As always, thank you for all that you do. Thursday, January 28, ends the last day of the 2nd Marking Period. Please keep

up to date with your child's grades by checking Power Parent.

Stay warm, safe, healthy, and have a great weekend.
