Where You and Your Child Grow and Learn Together

Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is a program for all Minnesota families with children between the ages of birth to 5 years old. ECFE is based on the idea that the family provides a child's first and most significant learning environment and parents are a child's first and most important teacher. ECFE's goal is to enhance the ability of all parents and other family members to provide the best possible environment for their child's learning and growth. Lakeview ECFE runs monthly classes in the evening. Join us for an evening of play and learning with your child. Our Early Childhood Teachers will be on site to facilitate learning through a variety of centers and activities, and we encourage hands-on learning for you and your child.

School Readiness Preschool

The Lakeview School District offers School Readiness Preschool (SRP) to children who are three and four years of age by September 1st. Through guided play, large and small group time, and social interaction, children will build language, literacy, social, problem-solving, and math skills.

What makes School Readiness Preschool unique?

It is a priority of SRP to involve parents/caregivers in their child’s education. Research shows that early childhood programs that include parents and children working together are more effective than programs that only focus on the child. Each class requires that a parent or caregiver attend regularly.

We are Parent Aware 4-Star Rated

All classes are taught by licensed teachers. School Readiness Preschool utilizes curriculum and assessment tools approved by the State of Minnesota.

Fees and Registration

A sliding fee scale and scholarships are available. Registration is now open for the 2019-2020 school year. To check on class availability, call 507-423-5164 Ext 1130.
