Ribbon Cutting
Ceremony
GES is proud to
announce our New Wing
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Friday, Oct. 12th
9:30am All GES students will be
in attendance! All family and community
members are invited to attend as well!
We will have a small ribbon cutting ceremony
and a walk through the new wing immediately
following. We will have
bucket drumming by our summer PFY students.
Dr. Andrea Kane, QAC Superintendent will be
here as well as other county officials!
Students will attend the ceremony, then return to
class. Students will be in class during the walk-
through. If you plan on attending, please be sure
to bring your photo ID.

trophy and an Ice Cream party from our amazing
PTA!!! Orange box top forms will be
coming home today!
Costume Swap
The QAC library is offering
a costume swap!! Place a
new or gently used
costume in the box
outside of the front office
and get a ticket. You can
take that ticket with you
to the Costume Swap at
the KI Library on
October 13th 2-4PM.

Winter Concert
Bus Expectations
1. Observe same conduct as in the classroom.
2. No food or drink.
3. Be courteous.
4. Keep bus clean.
5. Keep facing forward.
6. Keep feet out of the aisle.
7. Stay in your seat.
8. Remember the bus driver has rules to keep all students safe!
Many families will be shopping for costumes in the next couple
of weeks. We would like to remind you of the following:
1. No scary costumes 2. No blood or gore 3. No weapons (fake or real) 4. No foul language 5. Nothing inappropriate
We will have a fall festival parade on Tuesday, October 30th at 2:00pm. Parents are welcome to watch the GES student’s parade around the bus loop! Teachers will be
looking for parent volunteers to assist students in getting costumes on at 1:45PM.
Please contact your child’s homeroom teacher to volunteer
for dressing students or preparing for the classroom social immediately after the
parade.
