Global Map

The networks dashboard has a unique global map view that allows you to see all of your accounts and their networks, sites, devices, and clients from a single view. Zoom in closer and you’ll see alerts such as disconnections, firmware upgrades, and online status.

Since there is no need for a hardware controller or virtual host, Linksys Cloud Manager enables immediate scalability. There is also no need to configure complex VPNs, port forwarding, Public IPs, or DNS.

With the ability to manage your networks remotely, you’ll also save the time and money that would come with traveling to provide user support. By setting notification alerts, you’ll identify issues before they happen, keeping your customers happy, while making you more efficient.

Rapid Deployment

With zero-touch provisioning, users can configure Access Points even before unboxing them. At any point in time, access points can be stored in the “inventory”, which serves as a digital repository for access points not added to a network. This makes for a very quick, simple, and seamless installation process which allows for rapid deployment and extensive scalability.

After deployment, Linksys Access Points automatically connect to the cloud over SSL and can be configured remotely, whether they are offline or online. Linksys Cloud Manager will sync the configurations as soon as Access Points are online and connected to the network.

When deploying a new device, or replacing an existing one, configurations are applied to the new access point in just a few seconds, with no need to reconfigure it from scratch.

Remote Monitoring and Network Insights

By providing alerts and real-time statistics, Linksys Cloud Manager helps network administrators anticipate potential network issues without the need for on-site monitoring and troubleshooting. You can view historic and real-time traffic on your network, as well as at-a-glance analytics about your top clients and devices, which include uptime, signal strength, connection duration, and much more. The built-in troubleshooting tools help identify problems using features such as a Ping Test, Blink LED, RF Environment Scan, and Rogue Access Point Detection.

Centralized Management

Manage all of your accounts and their networks, sites, access points, devices, and clients from a centralized platform and single login. Cloud Architecture

The Linksys cloud infrastructure, which communicates with Linksys Cloud Manager, stores information and statistics of cloud access points and is secure, reliable, scalable, and redundant. The Linksys cloud architecture decouples services at the edge from dependency on Linksys Cloud Manager, so that services at the edge run uninterrupted even if the Cloud Manager is not reachable from the access points. With this architecture, there is no single point of failure.

Another unique feature is Out-of-Band Control management. In this architecture, encrypted management traffic and client traffic are completely separated to guarantee security. Communication between your network and Linksys Cloud Manager remains for data management and configuration, with that data flowing from your Linksys access points to Cloud Manager over a secure Internet connection. If your connection to the cloud is interrupted, your network continues to function, and end users won’t notice a difference. All of the features that affect user data flow continue without interruption.
