The East African Community deployed an Election Observation Mission (EOM) to the Republicof Burundi for the 21 July 2015 Presidential Election. Hon. Abubakar Zein, a Member of theEast African Legislative Assembly (EALA), was the Head of the Mission and has released thePreliminary Statement of the Mission as below:
