8th Grade – MacDonaldFavorite Stroke: Freestyle, Backstroke

Favorite Event: 200 M.R., 100 Back

Most proud of: Learning new stuff, getting

new friends, and working harder on swimming every

year.

Other Activities: I enjoy volleyball, Golf,

singing. I am the head pitcher on my softball team.

One of my goals: To get better at swimming

and to get faster as I go.Favorite Memory: When we played games

and had to hold up a brick and a water container over

our heads in groups of 4 or 5 for 1 minute and

SOMEONE, dropped the brick on my head and the group

accidentally knocked the water container almost full of

water on his/her eye.

8th Grade – MacDonaldFavorite Stroke: Breaststroke

Favorite Event: 100 Breaststroke

Most proud of:Swimming the 200 freestyle multiple times.

Other Activities:I enjoy reading as well as playing two instruments and a

few sports.

One of my goals:Join the High School swim team and improve my stroke.

Favorite Memory: My favorite memory from this year was the St. John's

meet.

8th Grade – MacDonaldFavorite Stroke: Breaststroke

Favorite Event: 100 Breaststroke

Most proud of:Having the honor to swim in the 200 medley relay for

MISCA.

Other Activities:Baseball is life. Swimming and band are the only

exceptions. One of my goals:Continue to cut down my 50 breaststroke time.

Favorite Memory: Winning 2nd place in CAAC.

8th Grade – MacDonaldFavorite Stroke: Freestyle

Favorite Event: 100 Freestyle, 200 FR

Most proud of: Improving on my flip turns and

working on my endurance. I felt faster this year and had

a lot more fun hanging out with all my teammates.

Other Activities: I love writing poetry,

cooking, trying new foods, outdoor summer activities,

and of course swimming!One of my goals: To continue being on the

swim team in high school next year. I also want to try

diving since I love doing flips and try out water polo.

Favorite Memory: At the St Johns meet.

The relay I was on got first in our heat. It was a great

feeling with everyone cheering me on during the last lap.

Favorite Event: 100 Freestyle

Most proud of: Dropping time on all of the

strokes I swam as well as improving my swimming

technique and flipturns.Other Activities:I do horse back riding, art, and I play viola in the MMS

orchestra.

One of my goals:I would like to drop more time on my freestyle.

Favorite Memory: The meets were all a lot

of fun but I particularly liked the biggest home meet,

there were a variety of schools there.

Favorite Memory: My favorite memory

from this season is that I got to experience sprinting

using the bungee cord.

Favorite Event: 200 Relays, 100 Br

Most proud of: I was able to win some of my

events this season as a result of hard work and

preparation. Other Activities: Other activities I enjoy

include reading, robotics, playing cello, watching movies,

and having fun.One of my goals: To be able to continue

swimming as a lifetime sport and be able to drop a

couple seconds off of my event times.Favorite Memory: When Aidan and I had to

use the bungee cord device in order to show us what it

feels like to go faster.

To stick with the program. Don’t do

stupid stuff (running on deck, not paying

attention, getting in water too early,

etc.), and have a lot of fun.I will miss…I will somewhat miss the laid back

atmosphere of the middle school team

Favorite Event: 200 Free Relay

Most proud of: Placing 8th with my medley

relay team at the CAACs and winning a medal.

Other Activities: Reading, playing the piano and lacrosse.

One of my goals:To beat my current 50 free time of 36.01.

Favorite Memory: The last practice of 2014, when we got to go off the high

dive and dive for dimes, then keep them.

8th Grade – MacDonaldFavorite Stroke: Breaststroke

Favorite Event: 1-meter Diving, 100

BreaststrokeMost proud of: Placing 7th at the CAAC meet

in Diving. I have never been in diving before, so this was

new to me. I am very proud of myself.

Other Activities: I am a 2nd degree black

belt in Tae Kwon Do. I also enjoy reading, surfing, boogie

boarding, and anything water related...I grew up in

Hawaii!!

One of my goals:To place in the top three at a meet.Favorite Memory: When the "Germany"

team was able to teach swimming for the day.
