EAST SIDE JAM Lublin

East Side Jam Lublin is a rollerblading contest which gathers spectators and rollerbladers from whole Poland – amateurs and professionals. Slowly the event is becoming an annual competition with constantly growing interest of people connected with aggressive skating as well as respect from people beyond the rollerblading industry.

It is an extraordinary event with awesome vibe and one of a kind Lublin`s atmosphere.

Currently East Side Jam is the only pure-street-oriented contest in Poland. The participants will compete on real ledges, rails, stairs, gaps of true urban architecture. Such approach meets with the favor of rollerbladers who slowly start to get bored by the casual skatepark events.

The judges will evaluate the riders in the five categories: style, technique, difficulty, creativity and originality. The top three places at the podium will be rewarded together with the special prizes for the most active participants. The number of sponsors of East Side Jam is getting bigger each year.

One of the key elements of East Side Jam is a loud after party with the winners announcement and prize giving. The East Side Jam Afterparty is supported not only by official event sponsors, but also local artists like reggae band Junior Stress or one of the top beatbox formations, Al-Fatnujah.

East Side Jam 1 - 31.05.2008

stFirst edition of East Side Jam was conducted 31 May 2008. Awesome sunny weather was perfect for a street contest. The event brought riders from all over Poland and of course local Lublin crew who feel very confident at their own hood. The level of the competition was very high, the tricks performed by the riders met with the huge applause from the audience.

It would be very hard to find another contest with such friendly vibe – the after party was a blast and all the guests were partying until dawn.

East Side Jam 2 - 30.05.2009

The second edition of East Side Jam was even bigger! The crew took care of the press, so people could get the info about the event from such newspapers like Gazeta Wyborcza. The event

thtook place 30 May 2009 in Lublin. Despite the rainy weather the competition was a success.

Even though the weather wasn't so good this time, the event was visited by even more bladers than the previous year. Rollerbladers from all over the country showed up, both professionals and amateurs. The obstacles were exacting, and the contest was astonishing. It was definitely a weekend to remember, both for riders and spectators.
