ReBootKAMP's mission is twofold: First we train refugees and host nation nationals to code or use digital tools. Second, we put our graduates to work plying their newly acquired skills.

Coding bootcamps (immersive vocational programs) are emerging as an alternative to the traditional 4-year computer science degree and as a solution to the high demand for tech workers at the base

of the industry pyramid.

ReBootKAMP will offer 5 creative arts tools initially. These tools support a wide range of professions including architecture, engineering, graphic design, game development, CNC/3D print

manufacturing and journalism. Eventually we will offer tools for the music industry.

Pace

The bootcamp model = 8 hours/day X 6 days/week X 12 weeks. ReBootKAMP = 4 hours X 5 days/week 24 weeks = greater number of students + more diverse curriculum.

Partners / Supporters

Delivery of course content would be through facilitated e-learning (blended learning). All course content would be in digital format and be provided by our education partners. Teaching labs would

have 2 bilingual facilitators (subject matter experts) per 25 students.

Mentorship

Incorporated into both tracks would be lessons in problem solving, emotional engineering and professional practice. Additionally, we would be running a mentorship program to connect students to

professionals and acclimate them to professional culture and norms.

Practice

Upon completing the program and demonstrating proficiency in their track, students would be certified competent, issued nano-degrees and moved into Studio RBK where they will engage in real

world projects be they coding, modeling, rendering, animating or graphic creation.

Consulting

Through Studio RBK, services are brokered to tech industry and creative arts clients in the Americas, Europe and beyond.
