1) RETURNS – Your satisfaction is our main goal. Please follow instructions carefully. If you are dissatisfied for any reason with any unused item purchased from us, follow these simple instructions: a) Returns must be authorized by E Team Corporation before returning. Call us at (615) 446-6807 to receive an authorized return identification number. All returns must be approved and assigned a return number before any item can be accepted for return. b) Returns must be made within ten (10) days of invoice date. Shortages must be reported within ten (10) days of invoice date. c) To ensure proper credit, include a copy of the invoice and reason for the return in the package. d) Full credit will be given if the merchandise is defective or if we have made an error. These returns must be in new condition, unused, never filled with oil or gas, with its original packaging, and with all proper documentation. Shipping charges are not refundable and a fifteen percent (15%) restocking fee will be charged. e) Returns are only accepted for exchange or credit on future orders. NO CASH REFUNDS.

2) SHIPPING CHARGES – All Shipping Charges are the customer’s responsibility. If you intend to send payment in advance, please ask us to estimate shipping charges. All shipments must be inspected before accepting. If the shipment is damaged or looks improperly handled, notify the delivery driver. If the product is excessively damaged, refuse the shipment. If your package is left at your residence while you are gone and it looks damaged, it is the customer’s responsibility to contact the delivery company.

3) FREIGHT – All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. All damages and loss claims must be made with the delivering carrier within 24 hours of receiving the merchandise.

4) SALES TAX – Sales Tax added on parts orders and labor received in Tennessee only.

5) PRICING POLICY – Our policy is to provide quality products at reasonable prices. Our best prices are viewed in the catalog. The printed prices were the current prices at the time of up loading and we will make every effort to hold these prices. But, we do not guarantee these prices: please verify pricing at the time of ordering.

6) WARRANTIES AND GUARANTEES - While the original manufacturer of the product may provide a warranty for the product purchased, E Team Corporation makes no warranty, express or implied. Any product order that can’t be shipped UPS must be paid in advance including shipping charges or applied on a charge card. RETURNS must be made within 10 days of invoice. All returns will be subject to a 15 % restocking fee except when there was an error in filling the order.

4) RETURN CHECKS – The will be a $59.95 service charge added to each returned check. All future shipments will be C.O.D. Certified check, Money Order or Credit Card Only.

E.C. State of the Art CarburetorsFor the most part a carburetor that comes out of the box, unless it was designed and built for a one of a kind engine, will need some changes made to it to fit the needs of the engine. These changes

are also needed due to the type of fuel that will be used. These first changes are called blueprinting. From there it goes on up the ladder in stages to different levels that we take the carburetor. What level we take the carburetor to controls the amount of “ Power and Performance” that the carburetor is capable of making. In short, it is impossible for a dominator carburetor to produce the power and performance of a stage 3+3 mega flow twilight zone carburetor.

Everyday when we get to work there is another new challenge to take on. As the old saying

goes “We’ve been there and done that.” The challenge of needed changes is always with us. As long as there is a race track, whether it be round n’ round dirt track or a black ribbon of asphalt, we will be there doing what we can to help you win that race.

There is no possible way that we can list every carburetor and application that is needed for around the world. Carburetors needed in Australia are different than the ones in Japan. In Europe it takes another set-up for carburetors than South America. Here in the U.S. we have our own complex needs that lead from 3HP to 50HP Briggs

or Jr Drag engines. No matter what part of the world are in we have a carburetor that will fit your needs. We may not have it listed but all you have to have to do is give us a call and we can advise you on the proper selection of carburetors.

The following carburetors are the ones that are current with a small descripion of what they can be used for. As time goes along and it becomes necessary, more carburetors will be added to this list. Some will be superseded with a better unit. It all comes back to this, if you don’t see what you need or don’t have a clue as to what you need just give us a call

and we will be able to advise and send the needed carburetor. If you have a problem with a carburetor that is hasn’t been built yet, we can design and build it for you. In this case the only part number that is important is our phone or fax numbers

Stage 3 Cutting Edge At this level we skirting the outer edges of the Twilight Zone. Hours of detail work are spent on this level of carburetor. The throttle shaft has a ton of time spent in making it enhance the airflow of the carburetor and also to affect the way the fuel curve is controlled. Most of these carburetors also have an air correction system built into them. This operation gives the carburetor a way of learning itself out on the top end to enhance the power curve on the big end.

Stage 3+3 These kits are a ride into the twilight zone with all the flashing lights, bells and whistles. It doesn’t get any better than this This is the type of carburetor that it takes today to have the racers edge when

it comes to a world championship race in Europe or the Saturday night dirt race that is paying $1,000 to win

As you can see listed under the Dominator, Dominator Plus, and Stage 3 there is a list of the most popular carburetors we build

Different class carburetors are listed in the different stages. You may find your carburetors listed as a Dominator Plus or Stage 3 but not the less expensive Dominator level the reason is that is the minimum stage we build that carburetor. Do to the amount of work it takes to blueprint that carburetor correctly, we won’t short cut

the basic needs of performance in lieu price.

BLUEPRINTED DOMINATORS & DOMINATOR PLUS CARBURETORS:Blueprint is a term used in engineering to design and build a part. In the world of racing this term is used to make a change in the performance level of a part. When this relates to the carburetor, the level of performance is all in relationship to the amount of knowledge and experience that is in the think tank of the individual that is doing the blueprint. All of my people have been in racing for the biggest part of their lives. A blueprint job on a carburetor means to us to take that carburetor and set the fuel curve to fit the race track and drivers needs and to make sure that the pop-off pressure is set where it needs to be. If it’s for a stock class we make sure that there has not been anything done that will cause you to get thrown out of the tech barn and then make sure that you have the information needed to know how to tune your new Dominator carburetor. Just trying to make a carburetor shiny and put on a filter adapter is not what it is all about.

The difference between a Dominator and a Dominator Plus is basically the same except the Dominator Plus has more machine work. This may include boring the venturi, special nozzle, air bled nozzles and etc. That just can’t be done to the Dominator for the same price as the Dominator Plus due to the extra time spent to build. Even though the Dominator line is intended to be an Entry Level carburetor we just won’t short cut basic needs in “Air Flow and Needed Fuel Curve” changes in lieu price.Some even better values for you to consider are our Potion Kits. For a few bucks more you can be sure you are getting a tried & tested complete setup. Our Kits are designed for specific engines and classes to properly fit your needs.

Intimidator Series Carburetors were created and inspired from our hand built 3+3 Twilight Zone HL as a base line. Are goals were simple to inspire but much harder to impliment:• One: Make more Power• Two: Make easier to tune• Three: Lower the cost

Our first goal was thought to be the hardest. We knew we wanted something better; knowing that benchmark was set so high by our hand built HL Tillotson Twilight prepared carbs... So we knew it wasn’t going to be a simple task. We started on the computer CAD system and spent days to weeks then months designing and redesigning the carburetor body then redesign the fuel pump plates, the throttle shaft and the position of the throttle shaft in relation to the throttle bore. After the CAD designs were finished we rapid proto type STL models and flow tested and dyno the plastic models until we found the balance and the performance we were looking for. Once we were convinced had the right design, we started testing on different engines. Starting from a better design helped in meeting our secoud goal.

Though its easy to have intial success tuning the X380 on our engines, its difficult to cover the engine spectrum we are designing this carburetor for so we allowed some trusted racers to test and give input with great results. This carburetor covers many classes and engine combinations very well but to get the true potenial from this carb it is very important to contact us directly or a authorize dealer to get the proper model.

Our third goal was to make a more affordable carburetor that even budget racers could afford. Our CAD design took a lot of the hours out, though not all of our tricks can be managed by a machine it took a lot of hand crafting labor out. Therefore, bringing down the cost significantly from $1000 to $325.

Our Intimidator Series is only sold in kits. This is done in order for the carburetor to function properly and offer its greatest power potenial. Without the proper alignment between the manifold and carburetor and the opening of the pulse these carburetor are impossible to tune and will not give expected results. It’s in your advantage that we sell these as kits to give you everything you need to tune and race your high performance engine. TILLOTSON CARBUREORSTillotson is one of the oldest carburetor manufacturers in the world. Operations date back to 1914. Tillotson invented the diaphragm carburetor, which replaced the float bowl with a rubber diaphragm, thus allowing engines to operate in virtually any position.

This innoviation led the way to an explosion in hand held lawn and garden equipment, including chain saws, brush cutters and blowers. In the late fifties the karters started experimenting and found that Tillotson car-bureors were superior to the float carburators of the day. In the 70’s EC Birt took his years of machining and racing, including motorcycle racing where he is most famous, and looked for a new war to fight. He chose karting. He soon realized the need for a carburator for small engines. He liked the basic advantages of the Tillotson diaphragm designed carburetor. That foundation led to him working directly as advisor to Tillotson LTD in Ireland to create what we have today as a true racing carburetor that is accepted worldwide.

Racing machines need to be maintained and serviced regularly. One part that seems to be neglected is the carburetor, this may be, because a good carburetor continues to work s even though it is getting slower ever so slightly. It eventually comes to a point where you have to adjust it radically different than when the carburetor was new. All parts work together in the carburetor, but some part need servicing more often than others. Below Is a List on recommended changes

Pump diaphragm , inlet valve diaphragm and there gaskets every three racesNote: one two plate pump stack carburetors if rules allow it is highly recommended to use a .040” thick pump gasket part # 219 main diaphragm and gasket every five races Inlet needle every 5 races if using E-85 or higher ethanol, methanol , Nitro or special mix racing gasoline Note: endless you there a issue do not replace the inlet seat as a regular service. Carbureto Pop-off Pressure Tester Instructions:To check the “pop-off” pressure of your carburetor inlet needle, remove the fuel line from the carburetor and plug the tester gauge line onto the cap (Picture #1). Pump the tester up now and watch for the tester needle to drop. When it does, this is the inlet needle’s “pop-off” pressure. A good needle and seat will “pop-off” at the desired setting, drop ½ to 1 pound and hold. A very slow leakage from this hold pressure won’t affect the performance of your carburetor but a complete drop from the desired setting to ZERO on the gauge will cause very poor carburetor performance and must be cured.

Never check your “pop-off” pressure with the carburetor dry. We advise that you fill the line of your pressure tester with WD 40 then when you pump this in, to test the “pop-off” pressure, the needle will be wet and closer to the condition it will be when running. If the Carburetor is all together or on the engine remove High Side Needle. If you determine to modify or change the “pop-off” pressure of the carburetor, remove all covers, diaphragms and gaskets from the main carburetor body. Now put about (3) feet of fuel line on your pop-off tester and fill the line with WD 40 then put the fuel well adapter into the end of the line.

After making the desired adjustments to the inlet tension spring for a change in “pop-off” pressure, you can now check it by inserting the adapter into the fuel well passage (Picture #2). By inserting the adapter into the fuel well passage (o-ring end of adapter down) and pushing with pressure on the o-ring, you will seal off the pressure to the needle and seat for accurate readings. NOTE: It is not advisable to stretch the inlet tension spring or cut off the spring where you have an end that stands up. This will cause inconsistent pop-off pressure in the carburetor when racing.

Adjusting the Metering Lever HeightWith the metering diaphragm and metering diaphragm cover removed:1. Remove the 6 bolts holding the pump assemble on the carburetors.2. Make sure the metering diaphragm and gasket is remove, and any torn gasket is completely clean from carburetor body.3. Make sure the metering lever spring is seated in its hole in the chamber floor and under the dimple in the metering lever.4. Place the EC fulcrum arm height tool across carburetor body casting, as illustrated. Metering lever should just touch the gauge. Slight pressure will bend the fulcrum arm . Lightly bend the needle valve of the fulcrum arm end up.5. Gasket must be assembled next to the body as shown6. HL and HR Tillotson are set from the factory at.085 deep, most gasoline 4cycle engines set at .075” and most methanol engines set at .065” This is one of the most important settings, take your time.

Cutting inlet lever spring (pop-off ) spring properly Start by using a EC spring, most of our springs have double coil on one end of the spring(Pic B) so you can cut one coil off if necessary to lower lower installed height thus lowering your pop off pressure on a given spring. Next, make sure you buy a high quality nail clippers that have heat treated blades (from a beauty supply house for professionals) not the junk at the five and dime store. A good pair of nail clipper will make a clean cut with out bending the wire and leaving a burr(Pic C).Never: Stretch a spring, it will in time will find it way back and cause a erratic behavior in your carburetor.Never: Cut a spring to leave a dog leg (Pic D) This will cause pop off pressure to be erratic

Pop-off Shims have been a life savior for many racers. These shims are made to be used in the inlet tension spring well to fine tune and adjust pop-off pressure when changing a spring and other adjustments fall short of specfic desired pop-off pressure. “D” slide carburetor provide extremely smooth running at all throttle settings and instant throttle response, like a flat slide would. This is because, the slide edge is much closer to the main nozzle than in round slide carburetors. Air flows is more laminar through the bore due to the slide and high flow body design. The high velocity of air flow means a stronger vacuum at the needle jet, providing more precise metering and better throttle response.

EC Roller Rockers are CNC milled from Billet Aluminum and Anodized. Our Roller Rockers are built for a range of applications; specfic models are listed below. Our Roller Tips allow for maximum contact to the valve stem while minimizing horsepower robbing friction. Our Kits include all hardware and stands (if applicable) for easy installation (Some applications may require minor grinding or machining to the cylinder head for proper fitment. Some engines may require a taller valve cover or valve cover spacer for clearance. Warning: Anytime a camshaft, rocker arm and ratios increase, you risk valve spring coil bind. Valve to piston clearance, valve retainer to guide clearance or anything that will bind the valvetrain will cause premature rocker arm failure. These products are to be installed by trained professionals

Our Billet Aluminum Valve Covers are highly polished and taller to clear our Roller Rockers

Our PVC positive crackcase vent is a true billet check valve to control crancase pres-sure. This is not like the ball type used in the automotive, that looses seal under the vibration of race conditions. Normally install into the top of the crankcase like a Briggs Raptor or Animal Engine or into our Billet Valve Covers

Billet Flywheels

*Note 4. The 6611-28 or 6611 flywheels are designed as a bolt on billet aluminum replacement for cast iron stock flywheel on the briggs & stratton “model 28” verical shaft engin. the ring gear is a replaceable bolt on piece and is made of 7075 billet aluminum, making it considerably stronger than any other present alternative. The stock electric starter MUST be replaced with the larger briggs & stratton starter part # 808726. The flywheel comes with the hardware needed to install the larger starter.

HI-Performance Billet Flywheel CNC machined with fins. The adjustable timing hub flywheel allow at-the-track timing changes at 1º increments in as little as 90 seconds without the use of offset keys or engine disassembly. The adjustable hub also makesit fast and easy to accurately set timing during engine assembly.

Note 1.The 6611-VG flywheel is designed as a bolt on billet aluminum replacementfor the cast iron stock flywheel on the briggs & stratton vangaurd, v-twin engine most commonly used in bandolero racing. Included with flywheel is a spacer/bolt kit to offset the coils slightly further from the block, giving proper coil/magnet alignment. The heavy duty #808726 starter is not mandatory, but highly recommended.

Note 2.The 6609, 6609-GX3 and 6609-TF flywheels are designed to use a B&S “raptor” coil.

There is no warranty of any kind whats so ever! So we suggest a few tips: Install a Transmission plate with support bush-ing Part number FCRP-4051. Do not shift gear until the mower is completely stopped. Check the transmission before and after every race.

Axle & Steering ComponentsFront Axle Assembly for race Mowers. Our front axle is designed so you can make easy adjustments to camber, caster and akerman. We use 1/2” diameter king pin bolts on roller bearings. The spindle axle and king pin housing are forage together from high strength alloy steel. The over all width minimum measurement is based using 7-1/4” wide rims using our front brakes. The keyed spindle fits our front brake kit.

We stock the MCP Hydraulic brake systems made for Karting but adopted to many other types of small race vehicle from Jr drag , quarter midgets ,race mowers ect. It a high quality system easy to install and easy to service. It uses DOT 5 brake fluid for higher temperature and less corrosion for longer life than other brakes. Calipers have a spring system to retract the brake pad from the brake disc when you disengage the brake so not to rob power from the vehicle the calipers are adjustable to keep the air gap proper between the brake pads and disc as the pads wear.

Front brake,Design after a similar brake system used on ultra lites aircraft, adapted for Karting and Mower racing has enough power to slow the vehicle without locking up the front tires. Kit includes a pair of left and right side calipers,master cylinder,adjustable brake balancer, disc wheel hubs with 5/8” ID bearings and brake line.

Spark plug makes a difference, We recommend Autolite when it comes to a standard plug . We have found it holds up great on air cooled racing engines.

Over the past few years, we have discovered Denso Iridium plugs. We found more dyno horse power over all other spark plugs we have tested. When it comes to stock racing ever little bit help. The reason for this, is Iridum, which is 6x harder and 8x stronger than platinum the tip can be shrunk down to only .4mm. This means the voltage requirements from the coil can be less while firing performance is greatly improved. These plug are typically 2 to three time the price of a standard plugbut worth every penny.

What is spark plug indexing, and why do it.Indexing a spark plug in an OHV engine is proven to produce more dyno horsepower. What indexing means you are moving the open part of the spark plug from the combustion chamber wall to aim it to the center of the valves, this improve burn thus improving power. It take a little time but well worth the effort. It is fairly easy, mark the open end of the spark plugs with a Sharpie. Install and see where it lines compared to where the center of the valves are, add what washer until it rotates to where you want it at tight position. See pic bellow.
